New dark spell: Skeleton spell!!!

I. MAIN IDEA
This spell is called the skeleton spell. It spawns skeletons a certain amount of skeletons depending on the level of the spell. This will change the way we use troops and spells. I always thought that skeletons were great. I wanted o make this spell act kind of like a witch with a cool down and of course the amount of skeletons. This spell is going to be made for TH9 and up. I really hope to hear from you guys. I want to know what you think of it before I start getting to work. If you guys have any questions or comments or even ideas, tell me. If you want me to get into the details before telling me what you think of this spell.

II. ATTACKING STRATIGIES

This spell is good for gowipe and semi, gowiwi, vawimp, mighty queen. Be warned, you may improvise to fit them in
This spell is good to back up armies
This spell helps looters
This spell is the best when most buildings are already ripped apart as well as the defenses. These are perfect for cleaning up the mess.
When you use many of these spells, you will have an army which will help you destroy every thing faster
be aware of x-bows because they can cut down these skeletons really fast

III. DEFENSIVE STRATIGIES

Best if you put your TH inside your base.
Don't let 50% of your base outside of your walls.
have your CC filled with archers and barbs or witches.
keep your archer towers as closest to the middle as possible.
Make sure that you have your x-bows in range of what you are protecting
be aware that giant bombs will have no use against skeletons so don't depend on them to take them out

VI. CONCLUSION
My conclusion do this spell is that it would let clashing be more fun, more ways of clashing, and more loving for skeletons in clash of clans. I wanted to make this spell because, I see that a lot of people love using witches just to use skeletons, and I thought "skeleton spell," and it hit me, this would be a whole new type of spell being implemented into clash of clans. I am still trying to make this spell fit into clash of clans. This spell is like no other. That is what makes it fun! This will make new strategies for troop and spell combinations. Strategizing with this spell would be easy and would help troops have back up. Our skeletons always wanted to rise from the dead and go into battle right? Well this is the way to put them in. I want to be very thankful for what SC has done for us. We all need to thank Sc what they have done for all of us. The way we can thank them is to help them. This the way to help them make more into clash of clans. This is why we need to consider these threads. Every thread is an opportunity to thank SC an help SC.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea. I was just reading someone else's post who mentioned "troop spells" and I think the whole idea has merit.
Would the spell just produce 10 skeletons once, or would it act like the witch and say, stay in place for 20 seconds and keep respawning (up to a maximum of 6) until the time runs out?

The possible strategies would be amazing (sacrificing to lure cc, trap disposal, mini meat shield, dropping inside Base)

PS. I obviously just made those numbers up. 6 skeletons respawning over a 20 second period would be way over powered. But you get the idea.

Just wondering, can you place this spell anywhere? If so, 11 of these (dark spells have a spell space of 1) dropped on the town hall, or 2-3 with 4 freeze spells. This would bring back town hall sniping, in a bad way. If not convinced, use the above compositions on loot storages, specifically dark elixir. So "zapping" would be back, more or less.

I will be putting statistics soon and it will have a cool down time of 6 seconds. The duration of the spell will get higher every upgrade and there will be yes there will be six skeletons every spawn time.:thumbsup:

Don't worry, the spell can only be used outside of the boundary line(the one for troops).

Actually, It should be able to be placed anywhere, because defenses can harm these skeletons right? so it gives a fair chance for the attacker and defender.

Depends on how much dps the skeletons have. Also, even with splash damage, if the troops Keep respawning, who needs to worry about freezing defences?

I think the spell could be very cool. Just worried about how easy it would be to make it over powered.

Just a thought Temur - would it be worth having a type of skeleton. Instead of the skeletons the witch creates, could it create a certain type, like skeleton pikeman or something that only targets certain defences?

The problem with that is the name. We would need to come up with a different name then. I honestly think it would be great to just let them be the same skeletons. I know so many people that love the skeletons and use the witches to get them into battle. I was just thinking of making a way to put them into battle with out wasting troops space. This spell can be really strong. Just asking, but why do you want "a different type" skeleton. Will it make a difference? By the way, remember you can place these spells where ever you want them to be. You don't need a certain targeting system for them.:D

I think the problem would be TH sniping. Even at th9 you could drop 11 spells right next to the town hall even if it's in the centre of a Base (DE spells are 1 space). Standard skeletons have 25dps, and with 6 of them always being respawned, that's 1650 dps per second. Allowing that splash damage would take some out, as soon as they respawn, it could potentially go on for a few seconds (depending on how you stat the spell), the skeletons could have it beat in under 5 seconds whilst also disarming traps AND taking out core defences.

The different troop idea is just a way for you to get around making the spell too overpowered. But if keeping the skeletons is a must, then you'll have to reduce the number of skeletons, amd possibly keep the spell duration low or respawn time low.

The preferred target idea was a way to stop them from being able to target TH at the start of the battle (or resource collectors at the centre of a Base.)

Also bear in mind that with six skeletons respawning we could cover a lot of the Base with just a few spells which would set off traps.

I don't get the math.

So total skeletons spawned = skeletons spawned each spawn * spell duration / 6 , is that right ?
So level 1 has 6*24/6 = 24 skeletons in 24 seconds ?

Looks to be a very polar and unstable idea ... Seems like a direct substitute for witches ! WITCHES !

That would cost 1650-2200 de. That would be something nobody would do. I can higher the costs if you'd like?

no, how it works id there is a cool down every 6 seconds between the spawns for level 1 it would be like this drop|6 skeletons|6 sec. cool down|6 skeletons|6 sec. cool down|6 skeletons|spell dies. You get it?

A lvl5 hog army consisting of 34 hogs is 2210 DE and I still see that (and sometimes use it myself!) happening, so there's no reason not to do the same with the spell. Except you'd also have another full army behind it with a vast majority of traps gone. Even if you make it higher, it would still be worth it for easy trophy pushing (especially if you can make most of the DE back by attacking those with just a few of the spells)

no every spawn moment has 6, 7, or 8 spawn out of the radius of the spell. depending on the level of the spell

I like the spell idea, my only concern is that it will make Hogs OP at TH9 as someone could bring 4 of these spells to trigger all possible giant bombs and still have space for 3 heal spells.

Like the idea. I think it would make sense to be dropped anywhere like a normal spell but the skeletons who spawn will not target loot storages right away to prevent people from dropping them on dark storages. Instead they should target a defense to distract it which is what skeletons are really designed to do.

Whoa, that would make it super over powered I think. You could end up with 30 skeletons per spell! Again, even at Th9 you could end up with 330 skeletons just from spells and over 400 for th10!

If the spell is to work that way, I think you need to reduce the skeletons quite a bit and possibly the waves per spell too

And also I changed it up, now that is for the last level witch is only for TH10

Looking really good now. I think it's becoming a lot more balanced, whilst still being an awesome spell.

I think at this point it might be worth putting tactical attack strategies in to see how at different levels it can affect battles in war/farming

Ps. Sorry for constantly commenting on it, but I genuinely believe it's a really cool idea and would love to see it.

Sadly It has some loopholes

I didn't get to read all the responses so if someone already said the next two things spare me hah:
1. If this spells can be used anywhere they are just very exploitable to take CC out easily or to take down double giant bombs, I attack a base with hog riders and a few of this spells and I'm really likely to 3star if complemented well.
2. If the spell wasn't meant to be deployed anywhere, and u just make it deployable on the outside of the base this would take some major coding ( cause all spells are usable everywhere and ur just trying to change that)
If it wasn't for this couple of things and I would love to see this dark spell out there

coding should not be a problem when they could already make troops that are not harmed by traps like springs. I am pretty sure that making skeletons un seen to giant bombs possible like when the guenn has her cloak against defenses

I like it, would be nice to finish off some buildings, e.g. storages in farming if there are no defenses any more in range, or to get the last percent points if you want to get trophies, or even in clan war to destroy the th in some situations this could prevent 99% 1 star attacks. Sometimes, if there are no splash defenses in range, the skeletons could tank e.g. the queen for some seconds- the seconds you need to finish off the th when it gets tight. You could also use it to destroy mortars or the eagle artillery if there are no other defenses because they cannot shoot on targets very close to them, or to destroy an air defense or sweeper. The skeletons could also trigger out some traps except giant bombs/ show where the teslas are. And this for a housing space of 1! Good luck! :D

Ok, picture this. Behold the skeleton unlocked at level 7 dark barracks. Doesn't that just sound way off. I mean if you'd like something like that, then go make a thread of it. I think skeletons are different. And they always were different. And remember. making the skeleton a troop while having witches just makes the idea even more messed up.:smirk:

You did read all the statistics right? I have been balancing it. I mean, tell me what else that you that would balance it. Remember! This spell is unlocked at TH10, so I don't think it will be OP

This would also go well with hogs and pure balloons if all or most of them die before wiping ot the last defenses in thecedge

To eliminate th/resource sniping you can simply make the spawning circle big so that the skeletons spawn ramdomly and target buildings ramdomly. This would still keep the usefullness if there is no defense around.

So what I sugest is that all skeletos are immune to giant bombs but normal bombs would do four times the damage to skeletons. This with my previus post i think eliminates all unfairly uses.

skeletons are very weak already. They don't need giant bombs to take them out. And actually it would be too OP if they did activate giant bombs, because you can just put these spells anywhere. You will be able to take out giant bombs simply by putting the spell down. Then hogs are invincible.

Witchs skeletons do deploy giant bombs and they arent any weak. So if they arent going to have damage from giant bombs, replace giant bombs with normal bombs. This way they will still not deploy giant bombs and normal bombs will deal high damage to skeletons.
And please consider increasing the range of the spell so that skeletons will target different buldings when trying to snip the town hall.

I. MAIN IDEA
This spell is called the skeleton spell. It spawns skeletons a certain amount of skeletons depending on the level of the spell. This will change the way we use troops and spells. This spell is good to back up armies
This spell helps looters
This spell is the best when most buildings are already ripped apart as well as the defenses. These are perfect for cleaning up the mess.
When you use many of these spells, you will have an army which will help you destroy every thing faster
be aware of x-bows because they can cut down these skeletons really fast

III. DEFENSIVE STRATIGIES

Best if you put your TH inside your base.
Don't let 50% of your base outside of your walls.
have your CC filled with archers and barbs or witches.
keep your archer towers as closest to the middle as possible.
Make sure that you have your x-bows in range of what you are protecting
be aware that giant bombs will have no use against skeletons so don't depend on them to take them out

VI. CONCLUSION
My conclusion do this spell is that it would let clashing be more fun, more ways of clashing, and more loving for skeletons in clash of clans. I wanted to make this spell because, I see that a lot of people love using witches just to use skeletons, and I thought "skeleton spell," and it hit me, this would be a whole new type of spell being implemented into clash of clans. I am still trying to make this spell fit into clash of clans. This spell is like no other. That is what makes it fun! This will make new strategies for troop and spell combinations. Strategizing with this spell would be easy and would help troops have back up. Our skeletons always wanted to rise from the dead and go into battle right? Well this is the way to put them in. I want to be very thankful for what SC has done for us. We all need to thank Sc what they have done for all of us. The way we can thank them is to help them. This the way to help them make more into clash of clans. This is why we need to consider these threads. Every thread is an opportunity to thank SC an help SC.
