we need a global chat

getting on here to find ppl 1. hasnt been working i make multiple posts rarely get ppl 2. requires too much effort with little success. it wouldnt be hard to add a global chat clash of clans has one u are the same game devolper shouldnt take alot. it would allow us to find derby players much much easier. either global chat or allow us to invite ppl who we arent fb friends with or game center friends with. i love this game but cannot continue to play if there isnt an easier way to get ppl in my neighborhood.

We need to be able to invite anyone.

This only being able to invite ppl if they are Game Center or Facebook friends is old and needs to be changed so we can invite anyone not in a group already. That or a global chat. Supercell PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS.

Leave some comments on what you guys think. I know there has to be others out there who feel this way. Think it's a good idea or no? Vote on the poll

I'm having trouble understanding how it would work, and I don't play the other SC games so I can't use them as a reference. Does Global Chat mean that everyone in the Hay Day universe is talking at the same time? Or does it mean that you could pop into a stranger's farm from the Daily Dirt, and say Hi, nice farm! or Geez, feed your animals, what's wrong with you? If that's the case then it's not as much a Global chat as an instant message. I don't think I'd like to be spammed by a bunch of strangers. Can you explain your idea a bit more?

Its just like the neighborhood chat but a separate tab where a bunch of ppl online at that time can talk. There no notifications and definitely not like a message. It's also not every single player in hay day. more like a 50-100 and every time u leave the game and it has to lead again it's a new global chat. A good way for neighborhoods to find new players instead of coming here. Also that could help with finding helps or trading goods. Or even selling. Just get on global say what u have for sale instead of wait for news paper sales

Love the idea! It is quite difficult to grow a neighborhood without these types of features. Would like to see this implemented to the game

Only if it could be turned off. :) I do not want a global chat, but if it could be turned off, I wouldn't care if they introduced it for those that do like it. I have a hard enough time keeping up with the chat in our 18 person neighborhood. Would not like 50 more cluttering up our chat. :p

I am curious though, in COC, does mostly everyone speak in English? Is there an English only rule like there is here on the forum?

It would be a separate tab it wouldn't be in the same feed as your neighborhood chat. So like it is now how there's tabs at the top one tab would be global. There wouldn't be any red numbers showing saying ppl are talking. It's just in that tab if u want to go to it. So it would be like its not even there unless u clicked the tab.

In coc I've only seen a few not speaking English. But I think it might be where u have your location set up for? I'm not 100% on that.

Is is so hard having to come to the forum all the time to try and find ppl and nvr do. They are giving bonuses to nh in champion league who have larger groups. You would think they would make it easier. I've messaged them in game many times about this.

Since I don't play Clash...even if I choose not to look at the global chat, does any chatting in our NH go to the global chat? I wouldn't like that either, lol. Or, is it more like there are two chats, a NH or clan and a separate one for the global?

There are 2 separate chats. Your neighborhood chat nvr goes to global global nvr goes to neighborhood. U could also use global to find specific items u need not in the paper. Or find ppl with helps when u have a help task but no neighbors have any ect.

My experience of global chat in Clash was disappointing. Much of it seemed to be puerile and egotistic and there was a lot of name-calling, plus some profanity. Of course, Hayday is a different world, so I would hope that didn't happen if global chat was introduced.

It has to be said that I no longer play Clash; I dabbled in it because I am a fan of SC, but it's really not my cup of tea.

I would like the option of turning global chat off if it was introduced into Hayday.

I would like some way of inviting people to join my neighbourhood, though.

I agree greed there is a bit of that in coc but like u said it's a different world. But I don't think they would be able to do an off button just a separate tab which u nvr would have to go into unless u needed it.

And ues yes we need to be able to invite ppl much much easier. Sucks finding someone in the paper who doesn't have a neighborhood and u can't invite them. Thanks for your opinion I'm hopping to get both sides like I have gotten seems so far from the ppl who have voted and responded. It's a mix between no chat and yes chat to not knowing much about a global chat but I think mostly everyone agrees with being able to invite anyone. Ask long as they do that I'll be ok with no global.
