The new freaking anti farm update.

I can't believe it. Millions of farmers affected. The poor innocent farmers...

Man, so many threads like this, I agree with them all!

There will still be farming, but in a different way. The reason why they are doing this because CoC is about formulating a plan to attack, not putting your town hall outside and getting a free shield to hide yourselves from getting your loot stolen.

If you understood the mechanics that are going into it, you would understand they are getting rid of a mechanic that should have never been in the game to start with. The ability to have a lot of loot, and have it "disappear" for twelve hours just for a measly 1000 gold and elixir. A statistic they pulled out is: 80% of attacks in clash of clans are TH snipes. Okay, let that sink in. That means around 80% of the bases that you see in matchmaking are gone throughout the day. Also, they're reducing reloading costs for traps and xbows. And, with the new shield system and village guard, you can EASILY gain back what you lost, usually. The only people who are being left out are: the weird accounts like Clash without walls, or like a high TH level with like level 1 defenses and walls. As long as you aren't a weird, like, really weird account, you should be completely fine. In all honesty, this is freeing most of the loot that people could never truly find.

I'm pretty sure what I said will be how it goes... Key words: Pretty sure. Nothing is guaranteed, but if there is a problem, supercell will most likely fix it.

Why are you posting here? If you have nothing to contribute, which is what you do in this forum, then keep your comments to yourself or put it somewhere else.

First off, this is the wrong place to post this.

Second, farming is only harder, it hasn't necessarily killed farming.

If this is something they think goes against how they planned this game to be played, why wait so may years to stop it? That's my biggest issue with it. It's been around for so long and suddenly, nope it's not meant to be like this. There wouldn't be so much backlash if they hadn't given TH sniping so many years to be used by players. They could've done this in the beginning and not many would've said anything about it. The reason so many are freaking out is its become such a big part of the game, because they let it go for so long.

Because this kind of stuff ruins the economy. Did you not hear that 80% of attacks are TH snipes? Hypothetically speaking, that means 80% of the bases that probably have decent loot are gone. Think about it.
