upgrading mines and collectors is actually bad ?

what a silly thread, of course you need the collectors, how about MORE collectors not just for TH10 :)

besides, they deter some people from going into the center to get the storages and who really loses anything when they are all destroyed? especially if you raid 5 mil per day...it's a good decoy and if no one hits them you have some extra resources

Gold and elixers (and DE) stolen from your mines /pumps is really deducted from your containers thus serve as an extention for players to steal from u if u are away from the game for a while.

So the question remains -
Is it worth upgrading them to get additional 5% more income that what I get from my daily raids, when they work against me if i dont play for a while ?

My conclusion - its better not to have them at all !

The bold print is incorrect. When collectors are attack, the loot stolen is taken from the collector itself (75% of the total) And nothing is taken from the storages.

Yep, it's free so just do your collectors when you go out of town or something.

Not only are collectors free resources but they also provide a nice defense. The higher lvl they are the more hit points they have. The higher hit points means the enemies troops will take more time to destroy a collector. Buying time for your defenses to mow down their troops.

People often say they don't need to max their collectors cause they loot a lot each day. But either way its all free.

For the record I have had maxed collectors for about 3 months. At 432k gold and 432k elixir a day that's a total of: 38,880,000 gold and 38,880,000 elixir I never had to raid. I don't know about you but that's a very large sum of resources.

Also remember that most resources from the game come from the collectors( other ways being single player, loot bonus and gemming). If you say it is a bad idea to upgrade, that's less loot for you.

Blimey, if someone offered me 35m or 40m i know what i'd take.

Plus, you must be online so much that you're collectors are always empty.

Where do you think every gold and elixir come from ?
Every single mine and collector brings the loot into the game.
Maxing out your mines and collectors means helping the economy of the game.

Upgraded mines and collectors have higher hit points, slow or distract troops and make a fine, passive addition to your defense. I don't see a downside with the exception of tying up a builder.

I don't know about you, but I don't come across 2x400k+ loot very often. It would take me 2 to 3 raids to make 432k gold and 432k elixir.

So for me, I prefer to have the extra time off to myself rather than raiding; and the free close to 10% even if you make 5 mil each day.

If there is a bank offering you 10% interest EACH DAY, would you take it?
It's a NO BRAINER!

Upgrading mines / collectors is always worth it. I'll take extra, free resources all day long :P

You could find the 5, but not the %... it's the same key lol

Drills r the only 1 that r worth it.... U can see how every1 cuz they "maxed it out at th5/7" i use them as a cheap and fast upgrade.... I dont want a 300k raid from mines and pumps let alone however much they can get from my vaults, i like to see them as "bait for noobs" cuz it's the cheapest thing to upgrade so when ppl quit whats their highest thing?
