But what if you're just joining another clan just to check on a friend or something? Plus, clan hopping is only a problem if you add said player to a clan war... Which in that case, just don't add them to the war roster...
I'm seeing a link here, there's to many clans and there's too many hoppers!!

My clan has 2 sister clans/academies, and we switch players constantly between them when they have heroes in upgrade, don't want to war or just need some strong troops in a clan where nobody has that level yet. Sorry but I am against this.
The sole intent is to discourage hoppers. Ofc its hard to find good members. Everyone has their own opinions. I just put some out for discussion. Nobody likes hoppers.Quote:

As a new player to the game with no ore-existing game friends, you'll need to visit quite a number of clans before finding one that is active. Then, you may want to fi done with people you like.
This proposal would make getting stared very hard for new players.
