On my opinion, GoBarch isn't worth, because golens take ages to cook + it cost 675 DE for me (lvl4) and the league bonus were incrediable incresead (20k/20k/20). I'll try GiBarch with spells, who knows it works

Farmers will adapt. Tried my modified war base this morning. Did not lose very much of my resources. About 25% and got two defenses. Got a 35% with almost no loss of resources. I believe farming will change, But actually be better with the new shield rule. My new base is just my war base with the storages moved to the core and the defense spread out with everything else outside the walls. 30% will be easy to get.
1 Town halls that that are semi protected can still be smashed.. Or they cone in fron the other side and wreck you.. Either way you are ♥♥♥♥ed.
2 having traps active will cost a ton if you need to rearm unless they change it by a lot and I mean a lot.
3 forcing an easy 30% could be hard. South teaser maybe. Who knows.
Rearming traps have their cost reduced.

While I didn't take the time to read the posts of others; I hope I haven't repeated anybody else.
To gain our shield, firstly, we need the attackers to deploy 1/3 of their army.
Secondly, they must score at least 30%.
Now, farming, contrary to popular belief, is not dead. Granted, the TownHall now carries quite a bit of loot, but this is just the more helpful. The TownHall, holding about 20% of the available loot, will attract the attackers to attack it, rather than going all out.
Use your same layout you are using now, except surrond your TownHall with buildings. This way, you are garaunteed at least 30% and the attacker 1 star. Your collecters can be in one of two positions.
One, by a heavily defended area, this will force the attacker to deploy more of his troops, most probably achieving the 1/3 of army deployment requirement.
Two, seperated by great gaps. This will make the attacker deploy more of his troops to speed up the "semi-looting" process.
While this update maybe quite the inconvience, we, the farming community, will now require the agressive Trophy Pushers to actually help us and spend 1/3 of their army when they are raiding, which is highly unlikely. So you are going to have to throw in some Teslas and Traps by your TownHall.

Yes, townhalls will be kept closer to the base to turn it into a mild troll/teaser base. It forces the 30% and with your collectors pushed outwards, there's a higher chance of it occurring, and thus, providing you with that 12 hour shield!
