Like the title says we need this. NEEDED: Defensive League Bonus and Cheaper Rearming of Traps, if your base defeats the attacker then you should get the appropriate % of league bonus related to the amount of destruction that was not caused to your base. Also the constant rearming of traps need to cost less due to the increased amount of attacks to our bases.

How are SuperCell ignoring this?
Players do not want to defend because it is a lose-lose situation.
And the biggest rebalancing update in 3 years has ignored this...wow.
Words cannot describe the disappointment.

Exactly. This new ubdate will force us to defend against "try hard" armies which will result in loot being lost to the attacker and more loot being lost towards re arming the traps. And while attacking will be forced to make high lvl armies that arent cheap wht so ever. Rip farming....

they already have a similar thing at boom beach where u get some compensation gems after being attacked depending on the number of troops destroyed by your base in the attack.
Rearming traps is what made me leave higher leagues pretty soon after hitting them (I am a maxed out TH9 excepct few lavas and some hero levels and I am talking about masters so definately not too high or sth.) its just a pain in the ♥♥♥ to get wiped out every time your shield runs out and as a nice present when coming back to your raided base you have to spend even more of your ressources for rearming traps and reloading xbows

The one obvious thing that needed to be done with this update and they ignored it! I have no problem defending, I have a problem paying more to rearm then was stolen. They wanna force people to defend? Fine, make rearming free. Wanna force people to raid heavy? Fine, give us a substantial win bonus for bringing an expensive army. I seriously don't understand who does these updates but they have absolutely no knowledge of the game they are changing. I guess when they get maxed bases from the start and free gems why would they care about the economy? If they need more resources they get them because it's free. Such a stupid joke!
I agree. If there was a reward for successful defenses against attackers that used at least 50% troop space, it would actually make it fun to log on and see you've been attacked. Rewarding successful defenses would encourage players to actually want to defend rather than the ultimate goal only being to just get a shield. I think it would be a very positive feature to include.
Everyone in the world HATES defending. Not only do you LOSE resources, but you have to re-arm infernos, xbows AND traps! Come on SC, who on earth wants to defend? Give us something for defending or you WILL lose players. We don't want to come back every 3 hours with all our loot taken PLUS all the re-arm cost! Give us a small loot bonus on the percentage the attacker got and WE WILL BE HAPPY!
I'm glad that I am not the only one who likes this idea. I am a TH 9 my wiz towers are upgrading now and then I have canons and mortar's on defense left to do. Royals are BK 11 and AQ 15 with 90 Lego walls complete the rest are Skulls. I hate that rearming traps can run me 150K or more!

They won't. They have officially released all defense related changes and it was the end of def sneak peeks, that's why I made conclusion thread. They might however notice eventually and implement these changes as well.Quote:

Hell why not make us pay to reload cannons, archer towers and mortors... i mean they use disposable items as well, yet somehow dont cost anything...
Agree 1000%. Defending and tweaking my base design is my favorite part of clash. Watching a base I designed do what it's meant to and defeat an attacker gives me the biggest rush I get from clash. However I never get to do it because a 200k/600de rearm bill makes me sick to my stomach. SC obviously wants to encourage 'proper' attacking and defending, so reducing rearm bill and implementing defensive league bonus is the most logical thing they can do.

there is a reward from defending its called not getting your loot stolen and having semi full collectors. i wish i lost a defense big time and had no loot stolen like some of the good defenses i have

What a salty reward, defend and have to pay them for defending your loot? If that's the case, why did we have to spend millions buying and upgrading traps? Why did we have to spend millions buying and upgrading xbows and infernos? Shouldn't those have been given to us for free and we pay a maintenance fee for using them every defense? This isn't Rent A Center, we paid for these things we should own them not have to pay to use them every time. People just dropping a single troop would generate lots of resources. Maybe just like the new shield system, you should only get bonus when over 50% of the army was deployed.
Supercell actually just told that trap rearms cost 75% less! :)

There is enough silliness as it is. We don't need money magically manifesting itself with every attack. Maybe some non-resource reward for winning maybe good, on top of the trophy gain, and the protection you can attack through... idk, attacking through a shield already sounds nice already.
