No worries, SC will take care of the war community as well:
- by making any scrimmage impossible. That's just a poor example of the war community trying to break the rules
- by setting a price of a 1000 gems to declare war.

Introduction
In this thread I will be sharing my views on the sneak peeks revealed each day. I would put it in the devoted threads, but since this update is so big, this post probably will be too. A few weeks after the update I will update this thread with how I feel the changes have affected the game and how we play it.
Day 1 - Shield Changes
These shield changes excite me. I always felt it harsh that we had to loose our shield in order just to search for a base to attack. Now we have the opportunity to spend a reasonable amount of time looking for a base to attack without surrendering our shield. If we don't actually attack our shield stays the same length. I believe this is a great change to the game. However, one thing Supercell have overlooked is that as we are all going to be attacking more, there will be less bases to attack and cloud situations will get worse.
R.I.P Sniping (2012-2015). I know it's been said that getting rid of sniping is unfair, and to an extent I would tend to agree, but Clash of Clans is about attacking, defending and building great bases. I can spend hours just changing minor details of my bases and this update will just urge more and more players to do the same. I like that Town Halls no longer grant a shield because it has created a new challenge for us Clashers to try and overcome. Farming isn't dead, but it has been hindered by this change.
So, we now only get a shield if 50% of the attackers army is deployed. What. About a th10 finding a th7. They could get 3 stars and the TH7 might not get a shield. This, I think, IS unfair. If this is misused, I could see some changes being made in a future update.
Day 2 - Village Guards and Personal Breaks
This part of the update is, quite frankly, amazing. We are being given a free shield that we can attack with!! However, I do believe the difference between Champs 1 and Titan 3 (15mins - 1hrs) is too large. The village guard is really helpful after successfully defending too. I hate not having the chance to rearm traps after winning on defence, but that has now all changed. Clouds will be bad in higher leagues though, because the Village Guard acts as though you are online and you can attack whilst it's active. This means more attacks but less bases to attack.
With regards to the Personal Breaks, this won't have much of an effect on me because as well as Clashing, I like to live my life so limit myself to one boosted session at a time. Personally, I believe boosts will have to be 5 gems for 1 hour or 15 gems for 3 hours to fit in with the new time restraints. I believe that this part of the update, especially aspects such as the mercy rule, are very complicated, but we will understand it better after the update has been rolled out.
Day 3 - Loot and Trophy Changes
Firstly, increasing loot bonuses is great, and was definitely a change the game needed. However, with town hall snipes being no more, I think that basing loot bonus on % damage is not needed, where as before it was. This update is focusing more and more on the Town Hall being the heart of the village. It can now hold a certain % of your loot based on your Town hall level and the number of storages you have. GoGoWiPe? na.....
Trophy offers are changing, and I believe this is a great update to the game. I hate finding 1 trophy offers, but in Crystal and above, this will no longer be the case. We will also be finding a lot more offers between 15 and 35 trophies which is really good for the game too. Trophy Pushing has been portrayed as a tedious waste of time in the past months, but thanks to these great changes, this will hopefully no longer be the case.
Review So Far - Part 1
This update has received generally negative reviews so far. However, I am a full supporter. Yes, there are some elements which are more than debatable, but Supercell aren't stupid. This update has been a long time in the making and will have been tested to such a degree that only the smallest of issues will arise. Nice job Supercell. Trophy Pushing and farming has changed, what about war?

Thank you for reading this far.
First sc attempts to kill hogs with the super bomb increase( if you don't remeber it , look it up ), then they give us hounds , and a few months later they attempt to kill hounds with the air sweeper , and when that doesn't work , they just bring in a second air sweeper . They try to cover up there ♥♥ with the lvl 5 dragon that no sane person even uses . They constantly mock war guys by not giving them anything they want , such as clan scrims , tourneys or usable heroes in war . After they have crushed the hopes of the war guys, they go after the farmers with the no th sniping , and ♥♥ loot bonus . All the while they appeal to the pushers with top 200 rankings for players and clans , Titans league , legends league, increased trophies , village guard and all there other ♥♥ .
No sneaks tomorrow?
