I was also OK with the first , then came the second sux a lil only and now the third it sux. Well lets hope that Supercell know what they are doing as Clash of Clan is their most profitable game or else . :(

I think they mentioned that the total loot storage will not increase, so the loots are now spread through 5 storages (with the town hall now counting as a storage facility) for gold and purple, and 2 storages for Black goo.
This means that you will need to destroy more buildings to get the same loot. Awesome.
I have spent a lot on this game. But so far everything you have announced has made me more likely to spend less and possibly none. I am not a pusher and frankly don't care about pushing. I war and I farm. I have always been able to make 3- 5 mil of each in a 2 hour boost. Why change the parts of the game that have been working i understand the trophy hunting is a real pain in upper leagues and needed fixed but farming and war didnt need messed with. Your 3 hour timer sucks. Not being able to get a cheap shield sucks. Do not do this update even if it means no th11.
Bottom line is that if they really wanted players to "defend" as they say, there wouldn't be traps that had to be rearmed, or clans troops that had to be replenished.
The truth as I see it is that they want you to LOSE. You're still better off losing a defense in this new system than winning one. If you win, you lose any loot from your "win", PLUS an eventual full load of loot when you do get beat.
I hate to say it, but I think the patch is really all about the gems.
And what was wrong with obtaining sheilds that way? I'm quite sure you have done it once or twice. I know most of us here have. And it is a strategy. Players put the town hall out as a temptation. Attackers don't have to hit the town hall, but players hope they do. They could just as easily sweep their base. And yes, there will be more bases to attack, but we have to attack them with war armies as we now dont get a high loot bonus from 1 star destruction anymore and people are forced to put their town halls inside. When you attack, you may end up losing money because of troop costs, and time spent on them (when you could've sniped 5 town halls in the time it takes to train them.) Now you tell me, how is that a benefit?
If your army consists of 20 archers. You drop 11. 50% of your troops deployed against a strategically placed set of buildings, maybe including a TH with a white flag next to it.
On to the next one. Shield gained by the defender and trophies gained by the attacker.
Job done. Farming lives another day.
As to the th becoming a full sized triple storage. I think its a clever way to provide for the 10 mill upgrades we will see post update for th11 and higher th10/th9 upgrades but it will mean an offset th base will be semi-suicidal outside war and yet square and symetrical bases are well known to be easiest to destroy at the top. I think as far as redesign with defence in mind for th9 and up will be a case of
you're drained if you do - you're drained if you don't.
Im sure the top 5 to 10% of players will enjoy the new challenge. Once they buy their max th11 upgrades they will have no other use for resources again except to try to win an ever changing range of coloured digital badges. What fun
I'm afraid it is Accumulated 3 Hours of play, whether straight 3 Hours or not you'll be kicked out after the quota reaches. And will be out for 6 min, if you're not attacked you can go back after 6 min for 15 min, and kicked out again after 15 min and repeated by maximum of 3 times ; the count resets after 3 times
Sneak peek 1: got rid of farming (not free shields). Helping others is a thing of the past and diverse clans get busted up because no one can tolerate the lvl2 troops they have using because they rarely got attacked.
Sneak peek 2: further kills the Clan in clash of Clans. I will raid, start an army and get offline for 12 hours. No need to log on to donate (no farming remember so no spare resources to donate anyway). No comaraderie; no personal investment.
Sneak peek 3: still doesn't fix #1 and further makes farming less. Destruction of CLANS seems to be the goal. Making raiding troops and defending troops the same may have helped at this point. Heaven forbit they remove poison. That would be logical.
Whoever said next peeks will fix it, lied.
They had a simple system that appealed to a wide audience. Farm when you want, push when you want, and war when you want. And adults of similar interest and any level could survie in the same clan. Utopia.
