There's lots here already for the war scene...
1. The .5 strategy is dead since you have a lot of trouble accumulating any loot to upgrade troops, etc. without free shields. I've been holding off maxing my defenses because of war weight...now I have to to defend my loot.
2. Defenseless bases are going to have an even worse time.
3. The 3-hour timer will interrupt your war attacking/planning/strategizing
4. You will have to rerequest/redonate troops all the time since shields are harder to come by and they will be killed by attackers more often

This whole update is yawn inducing. If anything this mess has doubly ensured I will continue to never attack and exclusively clan war, while attempting to get a shield as quickly as possible. This update is terrible and boring. So I'll be dumping everything I have into walls and staying at th 9 'til I'm totally maxed. Thanks for nothing SC.

Going to TH11 as soon as it drops (yes, I am a maxed th10, walls, heroes and all) and currently hanging out in crystal........looks like I won't be able to farm juicy TH9's anymore, as the matchmaking will be less likely to find th level's 2 below you.......which would be a th9 for me
