4. Partly agree. In higher leagues large attacks are normally required anyway and yes removing sniping might cause elixir problems up there. Don't see the same issue lower down where the bonus is miniscule. But sniping doesnt add fresh loot to the overall economy, just to the sniper. However if they go looking elsewhere for the loot this may create follow on effects and shortages elsewhere.

This update will destroy inactive base farming + destroy the economy. In the past inactive bases used to get shield, which allowed 12 hours for collectors to fill. Thats why people were able to do efficient barch raid that cost 50k elixir and 5 minutes to build, and earn handsome 250k/250k loot every raid. Although loot per hour is quite terrible once you are TH10, if you were a TH 7~9 and didn't earn 1.5m/1.5m per hour doing this, you clearly don't know how to play this game.

That will no longer even be thinkable after the update. Barchers will now be doing inefficient 70k/70k loot raids that cost same amount of elixir and time to build. Totally inefficient and a great way to kill the economy.

Also since inactive bases tend to have TH located outside the base, they will be sniped over and over and over, and within a day they will all drop down to sub 500 trophy ranges, well beyond ranges of most TH10s that need loot the most.

Quite a moronic statement. Sounds just like this "But farming inactive collectors doesn't add fresh loot to the overall economy, just to the farmer." YES IT DOES

I've farmed plenty using "real attacks" (loot bonus doesn't get included in these totals) and have max walls.

This update personally really won't hurt me much at all (beyond the last 8 hero levels I have left to upgrade). So try again.

These threads have become so annoying, I think its fair enough to say that we should stop beating the dead horse, it's been dead for a week now and there is barely anything left of it.

Plus, I haven't heard one complaint from a casual person on the forums....Maybe because they don't take the game to a serious degree as we do? Maybe they'll adjust to the update and CASUALLY continue to play.

It seems to be that forum goers forget what the term "casual" means.

Please take a look at the definition given by the dictionary. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/casual

It clearly states: "without commitment"; "without serious intention"; and most importantly "seeming or tending to be indifferent; apathetic; unconcered".

With that being said, the casual player will not care about what happens with the update, they'll just go with the flow. So please, I know you care deeply for this game and want others to share that passion, but you can't fret over the casual players because by definition, they simply do not care.

Yet more pure speculation.

Don't forget people will be able to raid even when shielded so maybe casuals will actually raid a little bit more now as they won't have the fear of completely cancelling their shield.

But if people allow their storages to completely fill and then not defend them of course they're looking for trouble. This is just common sense.

Why don't we just wait for the update and see?

yeah. But well, some peopke just want log in and collect from collectors, attack here and there. They progress slowly and they dont mind. I call that casual player. However, this update eliminate from the game because they will get attack every 12 hours and the collectors wont product enough to cover the lost. So, basically they screwed.

There are things that we dont have to wait to see. If u play the game by living off collectors, this update basically prevent you from progress.

Who in the world plays the game living purely off collectors?

As someone that has farmed a maxed base I can assure this this is the dumbest strategy to even attempt.

Plus, these bases are not about to disappear from the game. We will still see them.

If any base can have it's collectors easily stolen under 33% troops than those players will simply need to re-design their bases. Pull collectors in closer to defenses, or maybe throw a cannon/tesla or two outside to force more troop usage.

I don't think the 33% rule is something to fret over...unless your defenseless of course. But in a way that is making those who want to bend war rules in their favor heavily pay.

you cant have it both ways first you said "threads like these have become so annoying" then you say "you dont see casual players complaining" cant be both mate

and calling player who dont spend hours playing "casual" is just stupid just because they dont have the time to play as much as you doest mean there not committed to the game

but the guys right the games going to get harder and not just for guys like him for everyone and we will all need to adjust but only a moron would thing this updated was balanced for all players, as in life changes always screw some poor guy over
