thank you supercell for giving me, as a working adult with little free time a reason to quit coc with your upcoming shield changes

Someone in my clan told me godson's video had info about league bonuses being increased after the sneak peek was announced. Is this true?
Wish I found sniping a couple months earlier. So easy to pile on loot as I wait for my army to brew. In masters I never noticed a shortage of loot and my base was available much more often then the average base. I personally loved the person that had townhall out while my army was ready as I get the bonus and all their loot.
Shorten the brew time or increasing the bonus by a lot will allow farming to make sense. Doing neither will be a big mistake in my opinion as it will take way too long to progress in the game.
I put summary and suggestions first in case you are not interested in my analysis.
Analysis Summary: the global economics might be worse than before, but we might not have a strong feeling, instead we can find more available loot, less time and cost on next (I really hate too many next), more time and cost on cooking. More cooking time means active players might have to slow down their builder schedule.
Suggestions: to balance the overall loss caused by no more TH snipping, it’s reasonable to
- Increase league bonus:
- 2 star has same league bonus as 70% destruction.
- 3 star should obtain more league bonus than 70% destruction.
- Add more different bonus like defense bonus and revenge bonus.

Considering current COC player population is such a large amount, any minor change will lead to a big change. The loot system change is already very complex, and no one would really predict the impact 100% correctly. This post is just trying to considering as many factors as possible.
First I have to make an assumptions, which are helpful for doing this analysis, although they aren’t all true:
- 2 kinds of players: casual players, core players
- 2 kinds of generated resources: collectors, league bonus
- 2 kinds of consumptions: upgradings (building, lab and heroes etc.), cost on next, traps and troops (including spells)
- All players are trying to max everything eventually. Thus cost on upgradings are not loss, but intended and “fixed”.
- Cost on next, traps and troops are loss for the whole economics.
- After the update, everyone is going to put TH inside eventually.
- Every player is rational man, ideally he wants to maximize the resources for upgrading and minimize the cost on next, traps and troops.
Now let’s think about impact of new loot system:
- TH snipping disappear implies generated resources (league bonus) reduced
- Hopefully less loot under shield, more available loot: cost on next reduced
- Cost on traps reduced, (although we have to repair traps more frequently, still assume this cost reduced overall)
- More available loot from active bases: Cost on troops increased (more spells and maybe heavier troops)
- Without TH snipping and more time to cook troops, everyone especially active players are slowed down and might upgrade collectors (many active players make builder too busy to upgrade collectors): generated resources (collector) increased
I don’t know how do these variables distribute, but I would say league bonus reduced and cost on troops increased take more weight and are more significant. Cost on next and traps, and more resources from collectors are relatively less important. However, as a very active player before and now a very casual player (attack 0-6 times) myself, I think all of those impacts affect active players much more than casual players.
- Active players might be attacked more frequently, so more loss. Significant less benefits from TH snipping, and have to spend more resources and time on troops (assuming they attack more active bases than before)
- Causal players might even get less attacks but slightly more loss than before. Not affected too much since they don’t get many benefits from TH snippings. More spell and heavier army means most cost but cook time is not a problem.

I feel bad for the backlash you are about to receive.
The "you know nothing Jon Snow" warriors are in full force today.
Apparently the league bonus has been 'significantly' increased. All will be well...
Thanks for the warning, I'm just interested in analysis, even it's definitely not completely correct. Just expect some discussions.
Actually I agree with economics will be worse, but visually available loot is not going to be worse. The impact is everyone's schedule will be slowed down I guess.
