As a massive farmer and massive war player...that th out helped in so many ways. It's hard to imagine you are going to "fix" that. To me and all I have talked with that part wasn't broken. But it seems like you're going to fix it anyway.
Taking away the ablity to get a shield from the th being out is a mistake. I get the "nobody likes change" line....we're just making this game better. Have you ever thought maybe the success of this game might have been linked to the th out easy shield strategy? Again im a fully farmed th10. I used gems to finish time on stuff here and there....but mostly I used gems to boost and farm, never used gems for gold, elixir or de....I can't imagine doing that without have the ability to put my th out and get a shield....my th is out right now and I'm in Titan 2....

Bottom line, coming from a person who has played way more then most....you're over thinking things and making a mistake with this change.

Yeah, I really don't know.....I don't know fully how the new changes will play out. I do feel doing away with the thout stat is wrong. They even said th snips make up 80% of the attacks. That's huge! It seems they don't like that statistic, for whatever reason. But it is still a large part of the game, like it or not that's how people played the game. They are going to change that now. 😂

That change will force people to play more. You can't do that. You can't force people to want to attack more or defend more. That's just a fact. So yeah overall I think more people won't play and I believe that will be a fact.

My observation is that loot is terrible most of the time in Crystal through masters unless u can find the very rare dead base, This is why I hang out in gold. Finding a decent raid takes forever with the bases that have internal th being 95% of what I find. BTW, I'm a max th10 working on lavas and heroes lvl 39aq and 31 bk. Whith the ludicrous PBT 3 time merry go round for those hard core players who have the patience and when people cannot protect loot and as easily I see it being worse than it is now.

I see loot going from bad to worse.. The active players who continually farm SPEND their loot. How is this supposed to make things so much better? Seems like a ploy to get ppl to gem collectors, and why would you do that if you can't get an easy shield?

I will give it a chance but if PBT it is as annoying as it sounds and loot is worse I plan on quitting. I already spend too much of my life on this game anyway.

"Session raiding" if that's what you call farming... Can produce 1-3 million gold/elixir per hour (depending on luck and boosts). I don't see how you can keep all your builders active with such a low yield unless you've already got all your main structure's finished or your a super low level.

I am earning 1-3 mils everyday and I have all builders busy. I'm not even a hardcore farmer. But eh, I am almost a maxed out TH10 defense wise (not walls -all legos- and heroes 20/30 respectively), with only Cannons left.

You have math problem?

The main point is this, 80% of all attacks are th snips. That's near the whole game. They are doing away with that. That forces people to play more. You can't do, in the long run won't be sustainable. I think there will be a noticable drop in the long run because of these changes.

That is true, and the economy will change, however, will it be for the better or worse?

I don't see how having less players will make things better. I see it as self destructive. Can you imagine having a business and then having a statistic of how your customer uses your product. Next, coming to the conclusion that you don't like how your customers use your product. Then make it so your customer can't use the product in that way anymore. Thats crazy guys. Supercell or whoever will rationalize these changes however they want. People tend to believe what they want to believe and ignore facts.

But to be completely fair....I might be wrong....it might make the game better....we all will have to see....but, regardless of that fairness and open mindedness...I believe im right because the changes force people to play the game differently and the fact is this, you, can't, FORCE people to attack more or defend more....it won't be sustainable....the stratagy of the th out help more then supercell thinks....but the statistics don't lie....80% of all attacks are th snips...like it or not that's the main fact... 80% of the game is being thrown out....lol....I think it's crazy

True. The economy is unpredictable, especially when just starting out, we shall wait to see just like you said.

How can they justify saving for the humoungous and irrational troop upgrades? For a new Th9/10 this will be massacre...they can't attack th9 n th10 cz of levels and with reduced attacking 1 th lower they can't attack th9 n th10 and because of less shield how the **** can they save 6-8 million to improve their troops and defences to compete by playing casually? We have wars for gods sake to show how we attack and defend :-X hate them for this..already collecting 6-8 million is struggle and now this? Have u lost it?

As a fully maxed TH10 walls heroes and everything inclusive I do agree with @DragonDrake he is pretty spot on

If it ain't broke don't fix it stupid!

Also to add a bit more I don't have all day to come and sit and attack 2 - 3 people just to make back the loot that was stolen from my base and then on top of that grind away at the what I assume would be ridiculously priced th11 upgrades with the new system there won't be anyone sitting with full collectors since they will keep getting constantly looted and the smart ones will dump all their loot before the shield or whatever new fancy system runs out so in this scenario

The bottom line is:
No new loot is being generated due to no TH Sniping available because a bunch of crybabies with too much time on their hands ruined it for the casual player such as myself I only play clash to war with my clan I go without looting for days at a time just enough to make my war army.

All loot will now be reshuffled like crazy with no one gaining much of anything and upgrades that used to take a couple days turning into weeks if not months for the really casual player such as myself.

I will be quitting after this update is out and I suspect a lot more will be joining me so enjoy the newly found loot which will be taken out of the system within a couple weeks and eventually have less and less players fighting for the same loot and overall be the end of this game we all once loved because the company wanted everyone to buy gems to keep up with upgrades.

Supercell you've just killed your cash cow there aren't enough hardcore trophy pushers you just alienated your core demographic the average farmer.:(
