Loot, League Bonuses and Trophy Offers <-- Discuss it HERE!

Lets see how it will affect me and my base :

• TH inside after a few days ( some player don't know what the update is about )
• Protect my loot better.
• Loose a lot of trophies while attacking dead bases.
• Not get that shield enough frequently exposing my storages to hungry looters.

I am really tensed about this update really , Farming + Sniping was a Win/Win for us. Now it's Loose/Win

With the TH out of the walls i can mange to keep my Dark for the time needed to upgrade my heroes, if i bring it inside I lose about 2k in each defence and it`s almost impossible to keep uprading the dark troops.

Sorry but now if you want the 100% of your league bonus you must reach 70% of destruction right?? How many times a full th10 is able to do 70% against another full th10 IN FARMING? So I will never see the full league bonus right? Also the new standard league bonus is lower and you can steal less from a deposit?? ♥♥♥ is that??

As you can see in the last example, town hall sniping is officially dead now. As an attacker, you will only receive a very small fraction of the league bonus for a town hall snipe. As a defender, many people are now persuaded to protect their town hall. The end result is outside town halls will be few and far between, because most people moved them inside, and the league bonus received for a town hall snipe will not be sufficient to cover the cost of Next'ing. R.I.P. town hall snipes; it was fun.

#2. Based on screenshots within the release notes, league bonuses appear to have increased by approximately 12%. For example, 100% league bonus for Champions III is now 200,000. It was 180,000 previously. This is not a "significant" increase, in my opinion. In fact, some can argue league bonuses have been significantly decreased because now it takes a lot more than it used to in order to earn 100% of league bonus payout.

My comments here are strictly based only on the screenshot within the developers notes, which shows a 200,000 league bonus for Champions III. To the best of my knowledge, this hasn't been officially confirmed and its possible "real" league bonus can be different for better or for worse once the update hits. I will update this section if I receive confirmation of new league bonus values. For now, I'm assuming 12% increase based on the screenshot provided.

#3. The way forward for farmers, in my opinion, will be a new strategy to push as high in trophies as possible where you can consistently receive 100% of league bonus by consistently doing at least 70% damage. You will want to be as high in trophies as possible in order to get the most league bonus, but you will want to make sure you can do at least 50% damage and aim for 70% damage consistently.

#4. As a farmer, aiming to do at least 50% to 70% damage every attack means a few things:

• More time spent training stronger armies
• More resources spent training stronger armies
• Less raids per day

Say for example a person has 6 hours per day to farm. A larger percentage of that person's time will now be spent waiting for armies to train and therefore squeezing in less raids than before during that same 6 hour window, especially with the PBT that will also kick you out at least once during that 6 hours.

In my view, going forward farmers will not raid as frequently as they do now, but their raids will (should) net more loot than they do currently. However, will these fewer high loot raids be enough to offset the cost of less raids per day and more expensive armies? That's my question.

If I can currently make 1,000,000 in resources today during a 6 hour timeframe with many small raids, will I still be able to make 1,000,000 in resources after update during the same 6 hour timeframe with fewer but bigger raids? I know Supercell is good at finding a balance, but I'm concerned about this one.

Its still possible that Supercell will give us more gold mines and collectors, another barracks to train faster, lower training time for certain troops, more spell factories, etc. I know some of these sound like a stretch and I might be going out on a limb, but trying to remain optimistic and hoping for the best.

Agrees here. So, now hypothetically we can attack three times during a shield, netting, generally, 5-8k in DE for those three raids. However, it is now guaranteed that you will be attacked afterward with no ability to earn a quick easy shield by placing your TH outside, so you're going to lose 2k. Not a good change.

Supercell need to wake up to reality on this issue and actually significantly increase league bonuses - something like 25% in addition to the scrooge-like 12% they previously announced (and the pathetic 5% they increased DE by).

Well...not really.

First and foremost, in a six hour raiding session, if you only pull down one million in resources, you need to consider playing a different game. Even on an off time, you should be able to clear 10M coins and nearly as much elixir in that period.

Conducting fewer raids means less resources gained. The three hour PBT will ensure that all by itself, but now you are more likely to be attacked and have to lose a significant portion of whatever you can't spend before you sign off (or the PBT kicks you off). That's no biggie at the lower levels as there are plenty of upgrades you can do for the 3-4 million loot you can drum up in 2-3 hours time; not so much the case at higher TH levels where everything is pricedhiger than that and you literally have to save up now to make those buys.

Brewing full blown war armies rather than raiding armies will take longer, cost more, and reduce the number of potential raids as well. I think this may be a bit of an over-reaction as even BARCH can be effective against fully designed bases (i.e., without the TH on the outside) so this isn't all that big of a deal.

First and foremost, if you can play 6hrs straight and can clear 10mil gold and close to 10mil elixir, you need to consider getting a life. 😳

since TH is going to hold 1/4 of the loot, then does that mean our storages will increased by 25%?

Could be, cause we will mostelikely see new levels for dev buildings, new levels for troops, including heroes to lvl 50 ???

so eather all upgrades get cheaper or we need more storage place

this could be a solution to loot, giving more loot for attackers :cool:
