That's only because he gemmed his entire base and has never used the strategy before.

"Strong" strategy doesn't equate efficiency when it comes to farming. Something that Galadon never experienced.
It's always bothered me the TH had no real intrinsic value ... Fine give it greater loot storage ... Let the "gaming market" work out if in or out is best strategy. Don't try and dictate where the TH should be.
That's all thats needed to do to address the TH element ... And maybe scale the loot capacity to fine tune it if you have to.
A free sniped shield was also a bit generous - you now will have to sacrifice some loot ... That seems fair. But I think a shield of some degree should be awarded for losing TH - especially now that it has some value.
Losing TH should still give a win but full league bonus was perhaps a bit generous ... 50% sounds more reasonable. Effectively now you would get ~3% lb on a TH snipe. Is that really all a TH is worth ?
Add a smaller successful defence bonus (smaller as its passive in the game) , and reduce rearm costs (which they have addressed - great).
The complicated changes to the shield are really silly, although the VG on its own is a nice addition - Massively beneficial for running multiple villages!!!!

I rarely share my opinion, because in most of the cases I agree, or at least can accept the concept behind your decisions, however the lest real sneaky was a bit disappointing to me. It claims that League bonuses are significantly increased. However there are two factors, based on which I doubt that.
First, the increase in all of the provided examples is way less then 10%. This is still an increase, isn't it? Well, I'm not sure. In the new system you won't get all the league bonuses, just a percentage of it if your attack does not reach 70% demolition. If you make less than 60% destruction on an average successfull attack, the league bonus due to the progressive system (which is by the way just fine) will be less than before.
I was hoping a change, that compelling or at least tempting to leave silver league (as quite Strong TH10) behind me, to be able to find even better loot somewhere in the upper leagues. So far nothing convienced me, that it worth even a try.
Acutally that is fine for me. Nice and easy way of farming down here, and it won't be harmed at all by this update (or at least obstacles haven't been released so far). On the other hand, if you would like to see stronger player in the upper leageus even when farming you should make a better effort, and raise league bonuses seriously or provide other possibilites up there which are not available at silver or other low level leagues.

Not sure I like the sound of loot being taken from my th as it's gonna make it harder to save loot and get a 'free shield' lol
Also don't like this 'less loot for attacking one th lvl lower' as I'm a relatively new th10, meaning it's hard for me to loot other th10s as the matchup system seems to only give me max th10s, so as long as that's sorted correctly this time, it shouldn't be too bad I guess...
Apart from those couple of things, after having a couple of reads of all the changes (a lot to get your head around haha)... Imo the rest of the changes actually sound good now I've thought about it and have all the details (I thought it all sounded bad at first, but that's probably cuz it was broken down into three posts, but now it's all been nicely rounded up and put together, I think it should be a good change - bar my first two points that is hahahaha)
Just my opinion, and I hope I'm right that this update will make both looting and trophy pushing better... May mean I need to change my barch/giant loot attacks to include gobs and golems, but as long as I can get better loot for upgrades I don't mind changing my looting troops a little.
On that note, any chance of getting training times down a little for golems etc that take so long to cook when trying to loot a lot in one session? Those long training times are the only reason I use a laptop to stay online ;)
I'd have put it all in the title, but not enough space. I'm a th8 trying to get up to high crystal/low masters. Saving up for lv4 hogs is quite hard and I've heard that in the leagues I'm trying to get to, they'll snipe you more often than not, making saving de from th9s easier, and I can snipe and grab lots of dark! But soon after I saw the sneak peeks and deflated entirely and it totally razed my plan. But, here is what I noticed: The league bonus picture says "example" in the caption. So I agree with the huge loot loss from sniping and how in general you will be getting less league bonus, and even if you 70% you grab ~10% more loot for much mire costlier armies. My point is we don't actually know what the real loot bonus is or what else will balance this out or make this game better loot-wise in the next ~10 sneak peek! That is my 2 cents on this.
