You're right they do have that data. They figure free sniping = less gems used. Less sniping = more gems used.
Funny enough they had the same data logs and did the wall screw up. A small change screwed the entire economy of Clash, and they want to implement something this large with no safeties or increases to balance it out.
♥♥♥♥. Gonna be a looooooong loot drought bud.
i think they are going to increase the TH storage to be 1/5 of your loot. That is how they are going to increase the storage without adding more storages or storage levels. The new max will be 10million. IMHO
Marvelous now the game is sure to lose tons of players.. it was fine as it was why ruin it?
Add features and tweaks not destroying the game that everyone loves..
I think almost every player will agree it is funner to use full army attacks. If game design is intended that way, as are these changes, I'm all for the changes, bring them on!
However it is your game design up to this point that has caused the current bypassing of intended gameplay. Instead of penalizing(lowering overall ROI from attacks) your player base for now playing within game mechanics, how about giving us a real incentive instead?
Give us a real reason to play the fun way. Give War style bonuses for multiplayer attacks. Real loot appropriate for the level of based successfully attacked.
Oh yeah and give successful defenders a bone already.
It isn't all about the money. If it was, you'd see ad-for-gems like on other freemium games. Several of those type of games give me a pittance for watching a video or whatever.
I don't see the evidence that they are being money grabbing and shallow. I can give you a example of a game that is questionable and likely money grabbing, but that may break ToS here. :p
You are pointing out the mistake with the Elixir Wall as if it is common for them to mess up. It isn't. I can't think of many (actually not even any) mistakes that were as bad as that, or close to it, since I started playing mid October of last year. You are seeing things that aren't there. How many things have they changed and not screw up badly? Even when they did mess up, a resource boost event was done right afterwards, and helped smooth things out after the Elixir/wall botch (with who knows what else happening in the background to fix it).
Yes, they are walking a fine line on making changes that don't mess things up, and they slipped up badly once since I've been on, and many a few other times before that. Out of dozens of updates, which in themselves have dozens of changes, they have only messed up very rarely.
You think you know more than they do? If so, that is arrogant. How could you possibly know more when on the outside, with so little info to work with. Heck, where can you even find reliable data to back up your claims!?
You aren't getting paid to fix CoC on a 40 hour work week, you don't have the data, and no player, or YouTuber, has as complete a picture of what is going on than the SC company office.
All I see are a bunch of ill informed people, making bad guesses, thinking they are smarter than everyone else, and mostly saying the same negative junk that has always been said before, update or not.
Added Edit: OK, not all I see. There are some smart ones and cool headed ones here too.
