Would definitely be a start

As far as I understand it, once you are kicked off for 6 mins, you can come
back and play for 15 mins (provided if you are attacked, but not shielded).
This occurs until you are shielded, or it repeats three times.
However, if I am kicked offline, I don't want to come back until I can play
for 3 hrs. 15 min seasons are absolutely worthless to me.
So, if I wait offline for 18 mins, will I be able to play for three hours again
(assuming there are attacks, but no shields), or will I be kicked off again
after 15 mins regardless of how long I stay offline?
Mods arent developers. Just people glutton for punishment and want to spend their free time policing the trolls.
I also find this 3 hour thing plus the constant kickoff a pita. I hope they change the boost offerings to reflect this new stopwall.
If a person stays online too long..... (previously 6 hours, now 3). Just let their bases be able to be attacked while online. Simple as that. This new system is punishing people that actually want to play the game a lot.
The aim of these first 2 sneak peeks is getting people's bases out in the "fray". This approach is going to mess up clans in war. People that are dedicated to their clan and running wars are taking a serious punishment here.
Seriously though KISS. Keep it simple stupid. Kicking people over and over after a few hours of play is going to turn off a MASSIVE amount of people and make them not even want to play anymore.
To say this in the nicest way possible..... Village guard is not good and will mess up HARDCORE players and CLANS that are serious about war.
Instead of getting kicked after 3 hours or whatever, the player gets a message that their base is vulnerable to attack. You could even go further to add a new mechanic where the player could actively take part in the defense somehow.
I've been a professional gamer for 20 years and this is by far one of the worst things I have seen being done to a great game.
Why the hell would you remove free shields? Or destroy sniping for that matter? Such useless additions to the game that people didn't even ask for. Seriously Supercell your slowly killing this game.
Matty was talking about the 1-3 hour VG they'll get once their shield runs out. If the idea is to get more bases into the attack pool, why are they giving the higher levels bases the longest VG? Isn't that just lowering the amount of bases available for attack.
That seems backwards considering there's likely far fewer players in the upper leagues versus thousands in the lower levels.

The rules are complicated and remind me a bit of gremlins lol (not sure the Finnish will get that joke). That being said - VG is NOT making the sky fall. You can play uninterrupted while you have a shield and if you're prepping full armies it will likely take an hour at least to burn through your shield. Then you have THREE HOURS on top of that.
It it isn't a ton of time but I think what they are responding to are the people who use mod progs or other tricks to extend their online time even if not really online (someone once told me to put a dime on my phone to keep coc active.
the people who are gonna be most subject to the triple kick are those with no resources. This will bring more high end bases into the pool by discouraging extreme sessions and forcing them offline more frequently with the intrinsically smaller pool of high end bases. They'll get rewarded with that 3 hour break, but when it breaks it is gonna mean a lot more to them than someone sitting in gold.
Complicated but I see the issues and play styles they are grappling with and trying to give them things that make the game saner while not rewarding extreme and unhealthy gaming behavior - some people or do have mental illness and grapple with addiction.
i don't see someone with decent resources needing to go through the triple kick before getting raided after a three hour period. If someone plays that much they are going to accumulate SOMETHING. If they have that little then they mostly can't be that active even if they can dump some stuff into walls.
this really effects people at the fringes, I don't see this as even being noticeable to most people most of the time
