Ok we got hit with 2 BIG GAME CHANGERS sneak peeks to start it off... some people hate it (ok most) alot are ok with it... but theres still alot to come, and I hope for our sake SC starts putting some smiles on our faces and give us something to rejoice about after these first 2... gonna keep my hopes up that they're just getting the bad news out the way first.
I am reading a lot of complaints. I guess because this doesn't really affect most of you if you aren't trophy pushers. What they are trying to do though is make the game playable for casual and hardcore players alike at high trophy levels. The more players up there, the healthier the game experience. The way the game is at the moment is a complete joke. There are so few players that play up there because it is so difficult to play with long searches in clouds and punishing losses in one def that can wipe out all trophy gains over 6hrs. I'm guessing the next change to leagues, trophies etc will also be greatly beneficial to gameplay up there. I'm wondering whether it will be possible to farm for TH11 at high levels with the new additions in place. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
I also think players are greatly exaggerating the new no shield for exposed town halls. You will get a 12hr shield at 30% damage on your base. Then you can attack a few times before breaking the shield. It's actually going to be pretty cool. You're gonna see a lot more fat resource bases in the matchmaking, if you're an experienced farmer that doesn't rely on collector raids like myself you are going to have more fun than ever...
I'm sure tomorrow's sneak peek will involve going up in leagues for gems somehow. Seems to be the common theme so far...
good point about war, didn't think about that until your post. Just about ready to attack in war but then you get raided, heros will have to recover and have to request again for troops. no bueno!Quote:

4) negative impact on war:
I can just see it now. There will be quite a few people who try to get war attacks in towards the end of the war and get screwed over by multiple 6 minute mandatory breaks (up to 3X until mercy kicks in) resulting in missed or rushed/poorly executed war attacks.
I do not know about others, but I take war very seriously and sometimes spend hours planning out war attacks for my multiple accounts. In a tight war where coordination among the team is needed and you have players all over the world it often comes down to the line and best attacks are saved for last.

Apparently Supercell has started on a bad foot. I hope something GOOD comes out of this update other than TH11 and the new hero and the new defense.
EDIT: it looks like only Galadon and Chief Pat's ideas matter. Galadon suggested the shield thingy and Chief Pat suggested the PB.
