They said 3 hours of cumulative gameplay without a shield... so if you start raiding and then log off, you'll only be able to play for however long is left on the timer once you return, if you didn't receive a shield whilst you were off that is.

That's what I understood from it anyways :confused:

I bank on the 90% who will barch that base as usual. Lose loot though. Instead of a TH for time, shields cost now.

Actually, this is relatively positive, with a large helping of confusion.

You have to get a baseline on how these threads generate feedback. Since more people come to complain, than compliment, the general feedback will almost always have a good degree of negative feedback. Just like adjusting the brightness on a screen, once you get an idea of the range of reactions, things become somewhat clearer. Though, just like a screen, no matter much you adjust it, you can't get rid of any static or signal noise. And there is a lot of noise here, drowning out informed posts.

Since there are fewer people saying this stinks (as a % of the whole.. from what I've been able to see), compared to the snap reactions of the last update, there is a better reception to the second sneak peek, but a good part of the muted hate is likely from the confusion.

Its a valid point- however it is just logic when you come across a treasure like that to not spend so many troops.

But hey if this is how people want to play - EASY money and easy pickings.




Personally I think it would be wise to just defend once and risk a failed attack and only sacrificing a portion of your available loot.

But if people want to give up up to 3 times- that is purely there decision.

Will there be an in-game timer for the 3-hour personal break cutoff? The announcement shows a timer for the VG, but not anything for the personal break.

At 6-hours it was never something I encountered, but at 3-hours there's a good chance I could hit it during/after a barrack-boosted raid marathon. I'd be rather miffed to get kicked off before getting a chance to spend my loot.

Certainly I can try to keep track of it myself, but the whole thing is becoming complex enough that the game should explicitly display a timer for the personal break.

I wonder why they didn't just add 15 mins or whatever to the shield time. Probably to make a new "product" buyable by gems.

I never use more than half. aq, 6 healer, 3 wb, 24 arch 3 rage, 2 jump as needed. This update is horrible for th9 and below imo. I just sit in masters using queen/healer on th9s. Done 4 today and gotten all but 1 storage. All 2 stars. It's not to be a jerk, just the way I've farmed loot for months. Unfortunatly with this update as it stands none of those 9s will get a shield and I feel many th10s will use a similar strategy as you can core any th9 with 1 rage spell.
