Like last updates change to lightning spell and storage shield which eliminated cheap loot, Supercell is now eliminating cheap shields. This game is about BOTH offense and defense. So you should expect to be hit hard sometimes and not rely on free shields

No, she got KO'd next to a wrecked wall and/or Hidden Teslas from a battle. That is old wreckage, not something new.

30% of damage can amount to any quantity of resources, mate. Plus, the arbitrary rule of 50% used army is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. People will be able to farm your village with their clan castle and heroes alone and destroy as much as they want. The defender gets rekt anyway due to the lack of shield, or some pay-to-win "village guard".
