It is. You get kicked for 6 minutes so you get a shield (someone wrecking your base, because you don't get a shield for leaving TH outside). If you do not get a shield, you have 15 minutes to get into the game and re-arm your traps, then you're kicked AGAIN for 6 minutes. If you don't get the shield AGAIN, you AGAIN have 15 minutes to re-arm your traps and get kicked AGAIN for 6 minutes. Only then you will be able to play for another 3 hours (or more than 3 hours, if you decide to buy village guard time from the shop, because that counts towards the playing time too).

Basically - if you want to play 5 hours without being disrupted, pay for 2 extra hours of village guard. If not, then we'll be kicking you out every now and then with some 15-minutes-gaps after being 3 hours online.

Don't be lazy and read the whole thing people in the announcements (more detailed).

Congrats on making your adult players quit the game (paying customers). Although I stopped buying gems now for 6+ months, I did spend a couple hundred in this game until I realized what an idiot I was for wasting so much money. This update makes the game too complicated. Before I would log onto the game once or twice a day, farm a bit and get shield. I wouldn't lose that much resources while offline due to shield. With this update I'm done. This is too complicated and it seems the game will lose any fun it has if I constantly lose my resources while offline.
Thanks for proving us you are scammers and not game developers.

This is not how it works... Every three hours of continous playing, meaning playing without closing the app (if you close even once for like 6 minutes you wont be forced out ever) YOU JUST GET FORCED OUT FOR SIX MINUTES ...

So there is a lot of complaining but I have a real question. Worst case scenario towards the end of a war. I am on for 3 hours and get kicked. Assuming nobody attacks me, I can still get online to perform war attacks after 6 minute hiatus but only if I initiate it within 15 minute extension or I buy a 2 hour VG. The former assumes I have actually trained my troops to be ready in time.

This an accurate understanding?

Now it says you getva 15 minute Village Guard after a "weak attack" that doesnt give a shield... does this mean u can still leave your TH out, have it get sniped, attacker gets loot bonus and u get 15 minute guard?? I mean... that could work right? U could even attack under village guard without worrying about getting hit back for 15 mins... am i missing something here?

Well thats all a mouth full. ha. Looks good to me though.

As long as the trophy changes improve the +1/-59 situation, this certainly adds to quality of life.
