Haha, I was correct;)

PBT is 3 hours: forced offline for 6 minutes after 3 hours cumulative online time without shield

Time until you can be attacked after going offline increased from 1 minute to 5 minutes (to help cases of accidentally going offline)
Don't know if i'm wrong but now adding time before you are put out there is just killing the hole idea in these update, 6min force offline but if you are now put out there after 5min that leave u only 1min in the cloud, 3min top if you are not attacked and mercy rule apply and have another 3h of save play, before these change u where put out there 5 min, 15 min top if no attack.
For me all these huge change in PBT, 6min off 15 min on rule and everything its to much headache just to make me be 3 min in the cloud, and any TH9 maxed out or TH10 with decent defense wont be targeted that fast.
PD: Sorry for my bad English.
Little Background...
I am in process of grinding out th10. I do not gem, Heros 25/25, most th10 defenses are maxed out...
I am not really into pushing, generally hang out in masters. More in to clan wars. I dont log in for hours at a time to farm, Except in rare occasions where I am close to getting big upgrade. I generally attack 4-5 times a day with decent army to get big loot. Perfect for the new system right?
But with the time being cumulative, all the times i check in to donate war troops, or see how the war is going or give advice on attack. (Usually 5-10 min here and there). Whst are the odds that I will exceed pbt hrs and miss out on war attack.
Concern is that after spending near 8m on a def upgrade and keeping elixer low by using full raids and upgrading walls. My base will not be enticing enough to attack. Really who is gonna raid a strong th10 for nothing but a chance to get 3k de and couple cups. As it stands now I can go 8-10 hrs without being raided if th is in and I have little to no resources...
How does the pbt account for bases where the is no incentive to attack?
I understand that this change should help re-align leagues, and maybe I should be somewhere in champs, but still the idea of bot being attacked us concerning.
the increase window still sucks. For example, I log on for a minute to see if anyone needs troops and say a quick hi. I close the game. It will count 6 minutes toward my cumulative playing time even though I was only online for one.
The 3 hour consecutive reset is way too long. The reset timer shouldn't be any longer than it would be under a forced break.
Jonas, ALTHOUGH I am a farmer and UNDERSTAND why you are taking away townhall snipes... The thing you guys do NOT understand is that not everybody's lives revolve around Clash. You try to make the 12/14/16hour shields sound GREAT because you can attack THROUGH the shield and "make up for your losses".
Okay but what am I suppose to do when I get attacked and get a shield when I'm asleep, or at school or at work? Say I lose 300k elixir 300k gold and 2.4k dark elixir...
I wake up, or my studies are over or I finish work; I come back to Clash and see my loss, but I don't have enough time to make up for my losses+more, as my shield is about to expire... (Because realistically, I would HAVE to be online WITHIN the 12/14/16 hour shield to recover from a loss and gain "more" loot, safely.)
This only discourages players in trying to max their bases (FOR FREE/SELF PACED). If upgrades, walls and heroes weren't so damn expensive then you wouldn't hear complaints about these complex changes because we would be able to survive regardless.
(NOT ONLY THAT ^ THINK ABOUT IT. Say I lose 300k/300k/2.4k right? My army would cost just as much de and elixir just to attack and gain high loot. Say I get 300k/300k/2.4k back. And I do this 3 times within a 12 hour shield. END OF THE DAY, I haven't gained what was stolen off of me as I will always be down 1 raid. You say farming isn't dead, but please explain how it's not when ^ this cycle will be on a continuous loop?)
Not ONLY is it R.I.P Farming, but casual players too. As, CASUAL players are now officially on the Clash hit list with no hope of maxing any time soon.
-If you were to ADD more de drills, collectors and mines, then it would SOMEWHAT help the process of maxing a base. ESPECIALLY at TH9+.
-If you allowed us to REUSE the troops that didn't die in battle, then it would SOMEWHAT help the process of saving resources. As it IS already pretty damn hard to gain profit Via DE and elixir. And now that we HAVE to use spells and heavier armies, it would make sense to be able to reuse troops that made it through battles.
-If you allowed TH8's to use their elixir for walls, it would balance what you guys are trying to do. All the max TH8's in my clan have been coming across the max elixir problem as they work on their walls. Now they're are going to be targeted regardless. How are they suppose to max their walls any time soon? By allowing them to use elixir on walls, it would speed up the process. This would somewhat prevent the players from getting annoyed and dropping the game due to constantly getting rekt in multiplayer.
Not everybody plays this game with money. And it doesn't take a genius to understand that this update mainly applies to gemmers and maxed TH10's. You HAVE to make fair changes that apply to the entire community, or players will start dropping like flies. And frankly, it has already begun.
Don't know if this has been asked but...
Let's say I play for 2 hours attacking unshielded, I then log off and get attacked at least 3 times with defensive wins (no shield)... does my PBT reset?
Everything I've read seems to be based on getting kicked off not just logging out.
Nevermind... after reading info for about the 8th time... looks like mercy rule applies to this.
this is another good summary. and SC has seen this hundreds of times. No reaction (only repeating that "there-will-be-more-loot-blabla".) It means:
a) they know that there is a change for the better but they don't care that hundreds here and many thousands in the community are really scared
b) there is no change for better, the update will kill sniping, make farming harder, will leave casual players with no chance to update their bases - and they don't care
both scenarios produce bad feelings in this part of the community. I hope that they get the bill for this.
We truly believe this package of changes will improve and elevate the Clash experience for all Chiefs, from the casual to the hardcore, from the Trophy pushers to the loot hunters.
I read this and hope
Leave the PBT at 6hrs, but extend the time out to 30 mins. Anyone who is online constantly for 6hrs or more, really should take a break. 3hrs is too short, and doesn't match with barrack boosts. Once the 30 min period has expired your PBT resets regardless of whether you have been attacked or not.
Get rid of this Village Guard. Your either on a shield or not.
You shouldn't have to 'pay to play' by extending you PBT with Village Guard. This is just another bonus for the gemmers and not us normal gamers.
The people that are moaning about being in the clouds, are the ones your giving the extended Village Guard too. Which just makes them appear online. Which just defeats the object.
Please do more to make the game better for the casual gamers, war players & farmers, instead of catering to the top 1% (trophy pushers)
If you don't you will lose players.
I used to play Boom Beach, but the changes to that game, and the way you need to play it, doesn't suit casual players, and as a result i uninstalled it.
Hey guys.. What happens for war attack when personal break kicks in??
