Just got lost in this posts' meander and I found exactly my state of mind
The village guard is just scarecrow. A way to make the shield system more and more profitable. This is truly a pain for the war community. People just asked for WC tournaments or quests... :smirk:
Now here's my point of view: if I can't keep on casually playing this game I won't buy much, just play less and war only...
3 years play coc, new game play system. will need little bit used to play with new system. but i dont know with others opinion, personally i think new Shield systems and new VG will make more active players in shield or cant be attacked. Either revenge, farming will be difficult. its ok with people who do trophies push,,, but for farming, now ppl cant get free sheild anymore from th outside, then i think will be hard for keep the loots too, as we need at least 30% destuction for getting shield with condition 50% of enemy troops being use. 30% and more percentage will make ppl get through into core and then take many loots.. (of course good layout for farming can save the loots if we not meet some "top" class troops ) and for higher level league player, i think its will make more and more time for get match up with opponents, as we know player on champion 1 now need more then 20 minutes for searching the opponets, and the trophies offer also not good, 2 stars maybe get only 4 ts, 1 star only 1 ts. then with new shield systems and VG, many high lvl player on league will be on shield, will lead higher level league get compare with lower and lower league. then at the end, i think new coc systems its oriented with trophies and trophies, not farming anymore, but im also agree this is not the end of farming, only ppl need to get used for the new system of game play.
But overall still i think its good update at least make some new game play so make us not boring play this games. cheers
How sad for a game I love so much... I really hope they don't see in this update a last chance to make money before this game totally collapse... :unsure:
But hey, maybe they've tested it for such a long time and they know what to expect and such a change is profitable for the game's balance...
BEFORE:
- you lose a defence you get a shield.
- you win defence but opponet get 40%, you get a shield.
- you play for 6 consecutive hours you were disconnected for 6 mins.
even a little kid can easily understand...
AFTER:
a lot of pages of rules and explanations of new shield,vg,and consecutive play....
you need a master degree to understand....
ok i'm exasperating a bit, but what i m saying is that before everything was clear and simple... it worked almost perfectly for 3 years...
now everything is going to be a little bit complex, maybe because to many rules...
i agree with the goal that changes are going to pursue, but is the complex way the right one???
in real life to many rules never worked, even if the intention is right... i live in Italy, you must believe me :)))
i 100% agree with the changes, love them....
i think they are going to change the gameplay in a better way, and i m absolutely not worried about loot and farming... i think everything is going to work pretty well...
i read all the threads about the sneak peek (shield and VG), but my clanmates didn't... and i think they represent 90% of clashers...
but i suggest to make it more simple...too many rules, too many "if" and subrules..
less rules, more fun...
that's my suggestion...
Here's an idea, why don't we just see what it actually plays like before we go off the deep end about how hard it all and complain that it is far too complicated?
I am not saying that it isn't more complex to understand than the 'old' system I am just not convinced yet that it is going to be overly complicated to play.
