How to get ANY stars on this base in war

Im only th5..this guy is too but for some reason I'm having trouble with the level 5 walls. I know how to draw out the castle troops and kill them and i know to send giants before the wall breakers but still cannot even get through the wall. From what i read it takes 3 to break the level 5..i think most of them get killed before they get there even with the giants to distract. I was wondering what troops to use for this..i have 125 in camp space, level 3 archers and barbs, level 2 giants, wallbreakers and wizards. The rest just level 1. Also the lightning spell..and wondering what i should request from the clan. I have 15 for space in my castle. Thanks.

Looks like 15 giants 6 wall breakers and the rest wizards could rek it. Bring a lightning for a smoother cc kill.req for hogs (max preferably) and drop them on the splash defences, drop all giants at the top near the core defended and wizards in an arc after that (making sure cc is killed before any other troops r dropped). Drop wall breakers after giants and wizards r dropped (2 at a time).


Edit: sorry, make that 9 wall breakers and drop them 3 at a time.
Edit: also drop those hogs on the wiz tower ��

What do you mean you're "having" trouble? What do you mean you "cannot even get through the wall"? I thought you can only attack once every opponent in war. No? :facepalm:

The 2 things that destroy wbs are mortar fire & wiz tower splash.
the normal th5 attack is to get Giants in to kill air defense & have max loons in cc
so.. Send your Giants to the ad. After mortar fires ( if in range) send your wbs to the storage, out of wt range. Mortars fire every 5 seconds. If wbs get to the wall before it fires again you should be gold (pun intended haha)
send cc loons at wt as it is firing at Giants . Archers & wiz to clean up. Can use light to soften wts or ats.

I'm just wondering how many ways you could wipe that with nothing but a group of max cc troops... although the defending cc messes up most of those so you might need to do something about that first.

1)
Request max hogs in your CC
Bring 30 archers to deal with enemy CC, rest balloons
use hogs on air defense
pull and kill CC with ur archers, zap if any live
Drop 1 loon to test for air bombs, then spam loons on the top 2 archer towers.

2)
Pull and kill CC
Spam crapton of giants and wiz, bring max witch and wall breaker in your CC

I don't think forumers can help with low town hall level attacks much, we are typically 7+, personally I am 10 so I can't help you.

Hog the AD then loon the rest. Archers to kill CC.

Wiz are useless at low levels better off mass archers.. Cc troops max hogs as suggested or take out air def and use max healer or loons. All are op against that base. I'm guessing th 5 u have no spells so max healer would get your low rank giants a lot farther.
