Based on what I've seen skilled attackers use, the most popular/consistent 3 star attack strategies that people seem to use at th9 are variations of goho or golaloon. When people were scouting a base to decide which of these two strategies to use, what are they looking for?
If anyone had a checklist on what they look at to help them decide between the two that would be great.
for golaloon, im looking for a base that will allow me to use my kill squad to kill the aq, cc, and at least 1 ad. for goho, ill scout a base and determine how many locations there are for dgbs, and whether or not i can trip/avoid them and still get the pathing i need for sucess. i also use gowiwi as an alternate strat as a th9 for open bases.
What I find the vain of these attacks, aka if the base has these DONT use these armies.....
GoHo: Defence pathing that is in an"hourglass formation" leading to DGB spot close to the center where KS can't dismantle bc it's too far from AQ. Usually a Tesla or Air Sweeper right before on one side to make sure both trigger at the same time.
Obviously your hogs will all group up before tripping the DGB usually Xbow on the other side of bombs causing even more to group and die all at once.
Golaloon: "offset queen" with spread out ADs, will usually have 2x seeking mines on the ADs that hounds most likely target killing it almost instantly after the bombs hit.
Not huge but wiz towers away from ADs that will target loons instead of hounds

Golems, wiz, valks, hogs, and 1 giant mainly.
Use golems like GoWiPe, and wizards to take out outside buildings. Then funnel your valkyries into core with a jump spell, and when defences are distracted, send in hogs to clean up. Usually a 3 star strategy for town hall 9.
