POLL: Increase War Battle Time Limit

Why does it matter that I have had an account for 8 days? I've been around much longer, just thought it was about time to contribute instead of just read.

If no attacking units are in play by the 3 min mark, they are either dead or attacker hasn't dropped them. If they are dead, battle ends much earlier. If they are still in the troop bar undeployed, battle ends at 3 minutes anyway. So this is already in the game.

If troops are still alive by 3 minutes, chances are defenses will not be there anymore or defenses will kill remaining troops. If defenses are not around, this just serves as an infinite timer for your 1 golemite to destroy 10 buildings in 4 different corners of the base without running out of time. If there are defenses left, it wouldn't matter if you get extra time because you don't get the 3 star anyway.

I agree. I wouldn't suggest adding on a whole other 2 minutes though. I'd suggest at least 10-15 more seconds would be fine by me. Too many "ohhh so close" happen in war because time runs out.

Yes.

An extra 10s for attacking TH8
An extra 20s for attacking TH9
An extra 30s for attacking TH10

At these higher levels, the battle is biased to the defenders, with respect to getting three stars. 10-30 seconds is unlikely to overcorrect, and is likely to encourage some more creative attack strategies.

This new idea to require all troops placed by the 3 minute mark is odd. It doesn't really go the heart of the matter, but why disallow completion of a battle with a couple of very late goblins?

Here's my constructive advice. Stop calling people trolls, stop calling people liars, and accept the fact that it is a very very very slim chance that supercell will put this into the game.

Actually if you disconnect in a battle, it will resume until you time out. And you are not necessarily inactive when watching the battle. Fairly easy to just keep tapping the screen while the golemite smashes away.

I disagree, getting the job done within 3 minutes is part of the challenge.

Usually when players fail to get the job done in 3 minutes they have wasted too long luring, I've seen many raids where an entire minute is wasted activating CC, luring it to the corner, Poising and killing it with archers.

Yeah, that's how a lot of my clanmates will raid in war. If they get the chance at 3 stars, many times they won't have enough time to finish.

That's very true.

to maintain balance:

Give attackers more time. 10s, 20s, 30s at THs 8, 9, 10

Give defending heroes auto-rage.

Have CC defense troops wander back into the CC if they have no target.
