Hog attack and dragons are the 2 best attacks for TH8 for 3 stars.

If you want a more save attack with less chance to fail I would suggest GoWiPe. The chance to 3 star are smaller but the chances in a fail are also smaller then the other 2

It really depends on the base, but GoHo (golems and hogs) will work on pretty much all Town Hall 8 bases. (and by the way you missed Govalo on the poll)

In no particular order:

(1) Mass hogs
(2) GoHo

I favor mass hogs, especially as a clean up attack (i.e. once you know where many of the traps are).

For those of you promoting EQ light (mass drags with or without loons/hogs using earthquake and lightning), can you please record and upload the next, say, 6 war attacks? I seriously want to see multiple 3* attacks against ~max TH8 war bases using this technique, especially to the point where someone would argue it's the strongest TH8 attack option. I want to know what crack you guys are smoking! (I say that in jest, with a smile on my face...)

On the flip side, I can easily show attack after attack after attack of mass hogs and/or GoHo 3* ~max TH8 war bases, but I don't really think it's even necessary, as it's pretty obvious that they do.

(& I'm not seeing any poll...either I'm lost or computer issue?)

Options for my clans TH8's (from easiest to hardest to 3*):

Drags with loons in cc (2 light, 1 eq, 1 rage)

Mass hogs or GoHo (All heals and poison)

GoWiPe and GoWiVa variants (Only our top TH8's use these and very rarely)
