I think that if you are being attacked, and the clan castle troops are lured out, those that survive the battle should simply be placed back into the Clan Castle. Does anyone else agree?

Maybe he is suggesting clan castle troop that was expended while he attack a village, the survivors should go back to the cc. This would make more sense.
Either that or he honestly didn't know that defending cc troops always return to cc if they survived an attack, or at least just lured out before the attacker on his village surrendered.
