Where do Middle Players Fit in Clash of Clans?

Clash of Clans has been one of most popular games on the app store for some while now because Supercell realized two things 1) the success in a video games relies not only in the amount of people that try the game, but the amount of people that come back to play again (returning customers) 2) no matter how exciting a game is, it'll always eventually get boring. So, Clash of Clans outmaneuvers both issues by requiring user interface continuously to advance, and delaying the introduction of new features to keep interest. However, at this point, it feels like all the best clans and options are maxed out and run by people who play for hours on end. Furthermore, with the the dawn of TH11 coming out, it feels more and more like middle and lower level TH's have no place to fit other than sidekicks to max clans. So, I must ask the basic entrepreneurial question: Why are things the way they are, and how can they be better?
Currently, as a TH7 I feel great frustration trying to find a serious clan where I fit in and can really participate with my clans mates as they are often well above me. So, I decided to form my own clan, but I quickly realized advertising on the global chat gets you nothing but reported as spam. I believed in a clan where middle-level clanmates could work together, donate together, and win together. I believed in a clan where TH6-8 can fight epic war, reap mass loot bonuses, and simply enjoy the game. However, some people would argue that it's just easier to join an already-created and popular clan because its less work. Nevertheless, I would argue that being part of the beginning of something special is a totally different experience because you can work with other people who are just as passionate about clash of clans as you are to achieve a better base. I understand that ultimately, if my clan succeeds, it'll be just "another maxed clan" with an intangible feeling. However, I state now that I call for all clashers with solid TH6-8 to become the part of something unique to clash together. I'm not interested in super serious strategies or hardcore chats, just active participation: donation, attacking, and raiding. Ask not what this clan can do for you, but what you can do for your clan (JFK allusion!)
