BUT, there were several people angry about how supercell ♥♥♥♥♥ed them into watching and attending Clash-Con- All those people read speculation on forums,and thought that either the update was to be rolled out in clash-con or at least full release notes about the update. Really? Once again, Supercell are not obligated to tell anyone about an update. Furthermore, Supercell did not persuade or force anyone to watch the live clash con event. A new update has been long awaited, especially a new town hall level. Supercell is preparing us by giving us "sneak peeks" during the clash con event. This allows people to stay motivated and possibly finish or hurry along upgrades.

So, let me say it once more: supercell does NOT have to listen to the whims of the players and will not be swayed, or even forced, into giving an exact day for future updates/features.

That is exactly the point SuperCell never said anything was to be released or rolled out at ClashCon they simply said there would be an announcement. So the only people they can be outraged at is themselves for thinking that such a thing would happen. :saywhat:

Obligation is completely irrelevant to it being true or not. There was a lack of communication. This is inarguable.

I don't know. He didn't say all formumers were outraged but enough were that they gave a follow up reply to justify it. I would say most people expected more concrete info at clashcon so the term delayed is fair as well.

The lack of communication was real and so was the "forum rage".
See how its quiet and "sneakpeeks thread" free now

I think this thread is usefull for the casual forumers but unfortunately its lifetime will be short because sneak peeks arrive next week. Thanks for the sum-up :thumbsup:
