New Defensive Building: Hidden Forcefield
So I've felt that the advantage has really gone to the attacker with all the recent updates, however a fun and understated part of the game is the satisfaction that comes from defending against an attack. In my ways, watching a good base defend and screwing up someone attack, can be more satisfying than winning one. I've felt that one of the major, if not the biggest factor that has out the advantage in the attacker court are all the spells. Having so many spells at a TH9/10's disposal, and now with addition of dark spells, defending your base has become pretty damn hard.
In in the current edition of the game, there is literally only one thing in an attackers arsenal that can't be defended against: spells. I want to see that changed.
I'm proposing a new defensive building that works like a tesla. It's fills a 2x2 space, and is hidden. This building cannot be seen by the attacker, however if a spell is deployed anywhere within its radius, like a 4-5 tile radius, it activates and sends up a forcefield like globe covering its diameter, and deflects/repels any spells. Thus creating a safe zone and a user chosen area of the base that becomes impervious to spells.
This allows for some balance of power back to the defender, would be fun to watch and be satisfying as a defender, and even more, not have the spells be invincible and always effective. Everything else is potentially defended against, why not spells too.
