How to 3 star this TH9 as a TH8 Max?

I need to 3-star this TH9 base to win the war. I'm a TH8 with max war troops.

How to 3-star this base?

He got 3 lvl 6 AD and 1 lvl 1 AD.

I was thinking of the following army composition:

- 1 giant
- 8 lvl 4 hogs
- 8 lvl 3 dragons
- Max CC hogs
- 2 Lightning, 1 Earthquake, 1 Rage

My tactic would be:

1) place 1 giant north between archer tower and wiz tower to soak up the damage.
2) deploy max cc hogs from left side to the lvl 1 AD and deploy the lvl 8 hogs north at air sweeper and pray they take out the lv 1 AD and lvl 6 AD. I have no idea if this is going to work.
3) Zapquake either the west AD or east AD
4) deploy dragons to the remaining AD and hope for the best

What would your strategy be?

I know all his traps so maybe a pure hog attack would be better it's just I don't have much experience with hogs.

The more I think about it the more I think a pure hog will be better. I know all his giant bombs and could pretrigger them with only 1 hog each...

Opinions? How do I execute a 3-star hog attack on this base?

LOL. Ok, since you know where all the traps are, it's an easy hog attack. No DGB's

Straight hogs.. sams will knock your dragons out of the sky. Try and pre detonate giant bombs then 40 hog it

If you have a spy account, why are you asking for a best method? knowing where the traps are should make hogging a walk in the park.

Then again...having a spy account in the enemy clan, and still needing to 3* up-roster for the win...hmmmm...

The clan was invite only but it seemed most of the members were russian so I changed my CoC to russian language and wrote something russian in the join request ;)

What side should I deploy the hogs? 1 big asian wall of hogs? Or send in 2 waves? I only attacked once with hogs.. :smirk:

Never used hogs before as a main attack. I'm a big fan of dragons and loons and almost all my TH8 attacks are dragloon with zapquake. Sometimes hogs cc to destroy an exposed AD but that's it :D
