I've always wondered what happens when you don't hire Tom. I know that when he is hired and you don't accept his offers he comes back in 2 minutes, or else if you do nothing he just stands by his box. But what happens if when your hire-time is over you don't choose any of the options to re-hire him? Does he go away (well duh, mitten)- for how long does he go away?? How can you get him back? And whenever that may be, are the offers different and/or higher-priced?? Thanks all!!

At this moment he will offer service at normal price. Meaning no special offer.

a good idea is to hire him for one day and at the end of service he will offer price reduction for further collaboration with you (good guy!)
i know other forumers also dont take the product he bring from his last run. And when they are ready to hire him again they take the product and get offered hiring at bargain.
If you say you don't want to hire him again, he will offer you a balloon discount. if you wait until he releases the ballon and then tap the balloon, it will pop and release a gift.
Tom will then mooch around on the road until you order him again.

Just make sure that when he returns with his offer on his last run, and there is less than 2 minutes before his service time expires, you choose an offer instead of refusing anything. Since he naps for 2 minutes, if there is less than that before his time expires and you would need to re-hire him (and especially if you don't want to re-hire him at that time), if you don't choose which offer to take, you will lose out on that last run. Ask me how I know.... :p

NEVER!!! He can only manage packs of nine in his small hands...
maybe if he grows at some time ?
I have noticed that when I don't hire him the chances of finding diamonds in the mine is less. I think he pretends to sleep but sneaks into my mine when I'm not looking and pinches the diamonds. I use him every now and then but watch out as he tries to short change you and gives less than 9. Just send him to the corner or the road to think about his actions and he will try to do better. He is a wilful individual that needs to be kept on a tight reign. Let him sleep too long and he vegetates and grows a beard. LOL
