Hi my name is shafiq, and i am a th8 at lvl 83.
I lead this clan called 'Kru Malaysia' which is just a stepping stones away from lvl3!
Well now the clan is lvl2 with 25 members. I really wanna know wether it is normal for a lvl2 clan to hav members who are not active in chatting. Or even any clan..
I kinda find it impossible for a clan to be super active in chatting 24/7. Maybe not right?
So.. Well.. Speaking for my clan, will o gradually earn more active-chatting members when my clan levels up?

I would bet a lot of factors go into how much chat goes on within a clan. Do you have a lot of real world friends in your clan? Do you have family members within the clan? Do you talk about other stuff besides clash of clan or is that the sole topic? What is the average build time for upgrades among your team members? Do you war occasionally or non stop?
I have only only been in one clan but over the past 3 years I have seen our chat actiivity come and go. Back when we first started and build times were 2- 5 days and we each had every worker busy it seemed like all we ever did was chat. As I got more of my family members and real world friends into the clan chat seem to center around what we were going to do whenever we got together. During the World Cup or ACC Basketball tournaments the talk always seems to focus on the matchups and the daily results. The first time clan wars started many of us stayed up almost 48 hours non stop and chatted the whole time as we participated in our first war.
Today chat is slow but we still communicate what and when we need. As an veteran of the clan I take the responsibility of remembering things and then asking questions like, "how was that party you went to" or "how was your vacation at the beach". Just little things to keep chat active so others chime in with what they are doing or have plans for. Amazing after I drop out how many conversations will continue once I have stirred the bucket.
Clan level may have an impact, but I think it will come down more to your members than anything else.

Chat ebbs and flows in most clans I have been in. Just like an old married couple, after you have been all been together a long time, sometimes a comfortable silence is fine. That said, I do really enjoy it when we have an outbreak of morale and there is lots of banter - I find that this is more likely when someone new joins or when we are at war.

Sorry to say that,,, i hate people like you who advertise their clans anywhere ,,,, read the section and what poster said, he didn't ask for a clan he just sharing his thoughts.

Level has nothing to do with it. It's really all about chemistry. My clan's had its rises and falls in activity, just depends what's going on. Sundays when we don't war it's usually really quiet, while the rest of the week there are usually a couple of times people are on and chat and other times it's quiet save for requests. If you feel you want more chat going, maybe start with donations. When people request you know they're online so you can try and chat with them. Sometimes you'll still miss them but someone will speak up sooner or later and before you know it you've got conversation. But don't worry too much about it--figure out the level of chat you want and strive for that. Nothing wrong with a (mostly) quiet clan as long as everyone understands and follows the clan rules!

Some people just didn't want to chat unless they have same interested topic, e.g. sports, wine, etc. I joined a clan that always talked about NFL or wine before, another always talked about how to war. Depends on the age of your members, if they are adults that have family or work, than you won't see them chat all the time.
