Town hall 8 950-1000 cups is great ive been there all week its got great loot
id say around your level the best farming is between trophies 950 - 1150. at these levels you get the weaker players that are trying to save for TH 7 :D so you will be able to take 200 000+ gold per raid, this is what i have been doing.

Townhall 9, anywhere 1250-1900 depends on if you want to go all out with troops every raid then go to 1700-1900 for storage raids but if you just want to hit collectors and weak storage bases then go for 1250-1500
I'm a TH7 clasher with lvl 4 troops, and i go to 1200 trophies for farming
