It doesn't matter how high you upgrade them it always takes 4 for walls and thats all they are good for. In fact none of the dark spells really give much. I kind of feel ripped off

Upgrading the EQ spells won't increase the wall-shredding ability, but it will increase the collateral damage around the area, which is actually a very handy thing if you want to get to the core quickly.
As for poison, it makes the spell better at taking out high-HP troops, like drags or valks, which are otherwise an inconvenience which can prevent a 3-star.
Lastly, the haste spell is good for accelerating troops into battle, whether they are slow like loons or quick like hogs.
Yes, dark spells aren't as good as elixir spells, but that's because they take half as much potion space.
Agree. The dark spells are too good at level 1, and upgrades not enough.
haste spell upgarde is very good and and poision spell makes it eaiser to take out high hp targets and takes out lower hp targets quicker leaving more time for raid and 4 max eq spells takes out walls and as a bonus deals heaps of bonus damage to surrounding buildings
