I established a successful clan
I was previously in a clan where the leader had more ego than brains. I was 2nd in command and with the help of the other Co's tolerated the chaos of the Leader. Until I'd had enough of him not enforcing rules. Recruiting hoppers from global for war and not directing war attack sequences.
So i left, and started my own clan. The Co's followed, and a few other elders. This was no easy task to go from back to back wars to sitting in dead water. Through the forums i began recruiting. We've managed to find some great members, and the occasional douchebag (we all know the type).
Communication is the key! We are very active with eachother. We help eachother with upgrades and farming. We research strategies and share replays. In war we have been very successful by working as a team and enforcing scheduled attacks.
War is not mandatory in our clan. However when a member doesn't use their attacks they are penalized by being demoted and taken out of war.
We have pushed to LvL 4 in the last 3 months. Our members are happy and fun! We donate anything, anytime. (With the exception of noobs who join then request dragons or a th6 who needs a golem ). Ultimately i have found our success is directly linked to us treating eachother as people. Real people. We have respect for our clan and eachother!
I hope this helps anyone who has been in a crappy clan. Good luck!
Shazam!!!
