i didn't even think about carolers!! :facepalm: That's makes sense. Whatever the inspiration was, I love them! I think the decos are more special when we can relate to them outside of the game. Sort of like telling our own story through our farms. Others may not know why some items are special to us, but WE know. :)

Heres a thought, dress up all the visitors, including Tom and Greg for Holidays and seasons, i.e.

• Thanksgiving time dress up in pilgrims and Indians clothing
• Christmas time-Greg as Santa Clause, Tom as an Elf, Visitors as Carolers
• Winter: Ear Muffs, Scarves, Jackets
• Summer- Shorts, T-Shirts, Surf Boards

Skys the Limit as there are so many holidays from all religions and 4 seasons. It will also let others learns about different international holidays. Can create user submitted ideas and art work for holidays and season and then supercell incorporates idea.

YESSSSSSSSS!!!!! I started a thread asking for buying fall-colored trees (with vouchers and/or coins only) last year in the Ideas section, but it was "ruled out for the time being". And that wasn't even asking that these purchased trees change colors -- I wanted to be able to buy red trees, gold trees, and brown trees. I keep hoping SC will institute this -- I would buy so many fall trees it would be embarrassing LOL

True: Lawrence Welk owned a hotel in Dallas in the 1930s, and was a fixture on the Iraan-Big Lake-Big Spring polka circuit in West Texas, playing shows in the big hotels that were built in oil boom towns along the Texas and Pacific railroad in the 1920s-1930s, before he landed his own radio show. :)

You, me, and a whole lot of other farmers who have requested seasonal trees. It would cut down on the laments over chopping down original trees, too. It would be a 2-for-1 win-win. (Rather than "2 birds with one stone" since nothing but trees die in Hay Day, make that "2 trees with one saw".) SC could also sell me frosty trees (deciduous and evergreen, large and small) for winter.

I don't understand why SC doesn't make the purchased trees change colors! The work needed is minimal and it would make so many people happy!

Ya'll be sure and Czech out (haha) the world-famous Shiner Hobo Band from little Shiner Texas, doing the Beer Barrel Polka on You Tube. LOVE the Hobo Band -- the bandleader wields a toilet plunger, and they are a hoot!!! I'll try and post the link -- PROST!!
