It is quite ridiculous that the cost of upgrading a barrack or town hall or wizard tower or cannon or archer tower or any other troop is around thrice the original cost. Then why does not the gold or elixir or dark elixir production/ hour increase by 3 or atleast 2 times for each upgrade?
I would agree to this but then they would have to balance out the economy by implementing a daily gold and elixir maitenance cost for upkeep of buildings otherwise your buildings would downgrade. The excesive payments of upgrades is so that they remain mainenance free and a challenge to achieve them.Quote:

That's because loot is much more easily attainable than time. Time is very limited, but loot is almost infinite. I think it's fine for this reason.
