Heres just an idea. What if we could upgrade walls with Dark Elixir? Level 9+ only. Now, before you say this is too easy, I mean like 25k Dark Elixir per wall, or maybe even more. This would only cater to TH9's, and above, because when you are at the level of farming level 10 walls, chances are, you are maxing heroes as well. So, you can either choose between heroes, or walls. This may not be a good idea, but let me know what you guys think.
Given that heroes are already enough of a challenge at TH9 I see no reason to implement this.

With all due respect, we're in enough pain with the wall hero grind... it might be good for some players who have planned differently... but for most, it'll be an option never touched, moreover it should be more like 10k per lvl 10 wall, instead of like 25k...
1000 de is more like 400k elixir, according to the gem pricing i think
No one would really pay for it though.
