What do you get golden vouchers for?
Are they for boat orders / if so what orders?
Are they for truck orders / if so which ones?
Are they from mystery boxes / I'd yes do you have to pay to open them or are they free?
Take notice of what you get them for and post the information so we can see ant pattern that will make the search for the elusive golden voucher more achievable.

Open ONLY free mystery boxes. Don't use diamonds to open mystery boxes. You'll never know what's inside and it's probably not gonna worth it.
4. It's so random, no pattern, but from what I see:
- I never get golden vouchers from jewelry orders from truck
- I get them from boat and I notice sugar/dairy boat tends to give better vouchers (but not all the time, I had my share of goat cheese boat that give green vouchers :mad:)
- Sometimes if you fill your boat fast enough, it'll also give you golden vouchers (but once again, this is not absolute, I get green vouchers too even though I complete the boat quite fast).
My only sure source of gold vouchers is from truck orders for jewelry and is quite random.
I never win anything other than green and blue vouchers from the boats and I believe vouchers from boat orders do not depend on the time you take to fill it. I send boats away within a couple of minutes and I get green vouchers 95% of the time.
I won four gold vouchers from the WoF and the mystery box (2 each) in the last couple of days and I believe that was pure luck. Otherwise, I usually find gold vouchers at the rate of one per week from mystery boxes and no, I don't use diamonds to open them.:)

I agree. We have been waiting for 3 weeks for our last gold voucher to get a tuxedo cat -- we are filling near impossible boats that greedily ask for 8 jams and 50 sugars -- for blue or green vouchers. My 9 year old is getting discouraged.Quote:

Didn't get a gold but I got a purple for boat order for choc ices, carrot cake and pancakes. All the rest were ....... You guessed it green.
fishing becoming boring cos can not get lures to catch the 'good' fish.

Yesterday - Unless they were real easy (and I had the necessary items in stock) I kept trashing all the board orders apart from the bullion bars and jewellery ones... We are both daily players, and this has got to the point where it's beyond a joke and reasoning now...
SC gave us the fishing update with 8 extra/separate areas, which a lot of people really like, but have somehow diminished the odds of us all getting the rarer gold vouchers for that, never mind obtaining all the pets and fancy deco items... People have repeatedly said they WILL NOT pay 80 diamonds for one, so there cannot be any great financial loss for SC to make the game at least a little bit more tenable...??

Exactly. I'm a level 71 player and having gotten all the gold vouchers required for all the available pets, I have a whopping 7 gold vouchers left over for gold lures. I haven't made a single gold lure yet and refuse to do so. How can SC expect us to make a gold lure when gold vouchers are so hard to come by? I understand gold lures are needed to catch some of the fish to fill the book, but at this point I can care less. Fishing, as a whole, was fun in the beginning but has since lost its luster.Quote:

I have not noticed a dramatic decrease in the gold voucher drop rate. They have always been ridiculously hard to find. That said, I have stuck with the game and grinded out all the non-fish related gold vouchers. I have all the pets and I have all the decorations that require gold vouchers (love that waterfall!).
I have not made a single gold lure yet, or purple one for that matter. I'm going to fully complete every green/blue-able fish and then work on the purple/gold ones.
I get perhaps 1-2 gold vouchers a week.
I fill at least 2-3 boat orders a day during the week and 4-5 a day on the weekends. I have not missed a boat order in . . . a few months? Gold vouchers from boat orders are RARE. I fill boat orders to chip away at the 50 diamond, 15,000 point achievement. Any gold vouchers are a bonus.
I am constantly producing bars, and using them to make jewelry. I will buy all jewelry I see on the Daily Dirt. I have recently started wheating, which is helping my production - I have more dynamite/TNT/shovels than I consume, and they are slowly stockpiling! Gold vouchers from truck orders seem more frequent than those for boats. I have a hypothesis that Diamond Ring orders have a better gold voucher return rate. A few weeks ago, I got 2 gold vouchers in one day from selling Diamond Rings - could have been a fluke though, most likely was.
There is a certain technique to spinning the wheel, but I have not mastered it. You need to position the wheel start relative to the gold voucher and spin with a certain frequency. If you are good at it, you can and should use several diamonds to re-spin and try for more gold vouchers. In fact, I remember, that was how I got most of my gold vouchers for my waterfall.
Would be great to hear other people's techniques.
Don't lose hope. You will get your fish and your completionist fish log! You just need to be patient (like fishing in real life haha). Hay Day is not a game you finish in a week or so. Just like Clash of Clans, it is something you work at over time!

I have been playing every day since April, I'm almost to level 43, and have only received 10 golden vouchers. I think my ratio is 10:1 green:golden. I have gotten them from the wheel, opening the toolbox, and from truck orders. Probably also from boat orders, but I can't remember specifics. I got the captain III when I was on level 25, and typically only send away dairy/sugar boats. I don't fill a lot of truck orders, unless they are for jewelry. I even bought Tommy for 5 days specifically to fill truck orders for vouchers...over 50 green but not one golden in the whole time.Quote:

I got another one... This time for a truck order for diamond rings. Can not believe it - 2 gold in 2 days, don't usually get that many in 2 weeks. Surprising how little it takes to re-kindle a diminishing interest. Guess you just don't have to give up.

I personally find myself receiving more gold than purple vouchers.
Either I am having a really lucky streak or more good tickets are available. Got another gold from a box ( did not pay to open ), and a purple for a boat order. Any one else having better luck?
So I got a gold voucher yesterday...yay! But by accident...boo!
80 diamonds down the drain just like that.
Oh well, maybe it's time to make the gold lure to go after that golden trout :/
