The current clan war battle time limit handcuffs strategy so much. I can understand reasons for a time limit and the current limit is good for normal attacks but not for clan war. Why not have a time limit to deploy troops, 90 seconds or whatever, then the troops can go until dead or until enemy is defeated. You could put a way higher time limit on top of that if you had to have one. Can't tell you how many times I have defenses destroyed but I timeout with a couple of buildings left, dumb.
No, part of the strategy is being able to 3 a base efficiently and having this would detract from that. Sorry!
I wouldn't mind something small like an extra 15 seconds, you should start a petition if you want this to happen

I understand its part of the current strategy but why, to keep supercell's servers from being overloaded? Just because something is a certain way, doesn't mean its the best way. In my opinion, in clan war, if a base can defend stars it should do so, an attack shouldn't be a stopped because a clock says so, if troops are still alive, let them attack. Cap the deploy time to keep servers good and stupid attacks out.

They could balance the aq/healer attack easily. I normally 2 or 3 star, but I've had plenty of gowipe attcks 2 star with 1-5 buildings left (no defensive) because my troops attacked a random wall for no reason (or something like that). I'd like to be rewarded for taking out all of the defensive buildings and not be punished for drawing out castle troops.Quote:

Limiting troop deployment time would just increase the number of failed attacks and 99% two star attacks.
Knowing when NOT to spawn troops is just as important as knowing where to deploy.
I posted same idea except not increased time but for chance of having bonus increase time after certain objectives are met like TH and all defenses destroyed you get 30 seconds extra orrrr same thing but units all split up to attack different buildings and divide into random groups to where buildings are mostly at and then a certain group will target far away and alone buildings.
This idea is silly. Why does Supercell need to change anything? Plenty of players can 3 star within the allotted time. If you cant then maybe you need to improve. Why should Supercell change things just because you can't do what plenty of others can? Taking into account the time limit is part of the strategy and separates the good players from the mediocre players
Should Supercell cater only to elite players? I would think it would be smart for them to make the experience better for the average player, makes them more money. And who are you yo say an idea is "silly" because you don't agree? This is why I hate posting on forums, people aren't intelligent enough to offer constructive criticism. I respect that you disagree but my idea has been well thought out and I simply wanted a conversation.Quote:
