Stop higher Town Hall levels attacking lower Town Hall levels.

Hello, I came to say that as a TH7, which I am almost maxed, I am constantly being attacked with unfair troops; that my defenses are too weak to kill. This said, this ends up in a loss of all my hard earned loot, and there isn't anything I can do about it, which really picks my nerves. I am suggesting that higher TH levels (TH8 - TH10) Cannot attack lower level Town Halls. (TH7 - TH5) I might even add that I am also FARMING. And yesterday I was even attacked by an almost maxed TH8 using GoWiPe. There was nothing my defenses could do, and he stole a whopping 225k Gold, 100k elixir, and 1400 dark elixir. This is angering me to no end, and I hope Supercell could take this into consideration. Thank you.

How do you farm..do you attack TH7s only?
The answer is no. You attack villages ranging from TH5 to TH9. Still you're complaining here that you get attacked by higher town hall players. When you move to TH8 then what..would you still want his suggestion of yours to be in force?

The mechanics you are suggesting would ruin the game.

I just don't think it is fair for a maxed TH8, or early TH9 raiding my base with level 3 P.E.K.K.As and golems which my defenses cannot defeat, thus making it an auto win, ruining the strategy purpose of the game.

I don't agree at all. I have experienced the same thing this person is talking about and it is already borderline game ruining. If they continue to allow these insanely high level clans to attack me with nothing in place to deter it I will have a hard time continuing to play. This only supports the pay to win scenarios.

I should point out the part that I have a hard time with is the FACT that my shield can last 12 hours. In that time I can save up X amount of resources. Then if one of these large players attacks me I will lose those resources or more. That is broke already.

I would actually suggest having a point value for every item in the game that way you are paired with people within a range of yourself. This is the formula almost every super successful multiplayer game uses so to say that would break the game would just be wrong.

I have gotten rid of almost every trophy I have and completely stopped attacking anything just for the added chance of earning enough to make an upgrade. These same clans are using this same tactic in order to attack lower level people. I have a hard time seeing how anyone could find that fun.

Have you attacked a th 5 since you've been at th7?

If you climb the league's then you will have lots of people close to your level or skill level for you to attack. These targets will not be a walk in the park but they will be possible with the right kind of planning. This does not represent the problem The problem comes from the people that do not stay where they belong in the league standing. They shed trophies just for the opportunity to steal resources from lower tiers.

There is no scenario where this should be considered a good game mechanism.

Players drop trophies to farm in a league where its easy pickings, so I guess you could say its un fair but everyone's got the same opportunity to do the same thing, if everyone could only attack players around their own th size it would loose a lot of appeal for a lot of players.

If you feel that way, then buy a bunch of gems and upgrade to th 8 or 9 and max out your defenses. Just don't complain to us about it. As I always say, this seems like more of a YOU problem, and less like a SUPERCELL problem.

Frankly speaking, I never gave a fu*k about loot lost in defences. Its part of the game. What I had in my storages was stolen from someone else, plus a little of what my mines and drills produced.
The game rewards ones who are more active and steal comparatively more from other peeps. This is perfectly fine for a clashing game in my opinion.
Regarding your original concern about allowing only current TH level players to attack. Dude do you seriously think that a TH7 can't 3 star your base? :D
Higher townhall levels already have a loot penalty imposed upon them, which discourages huge mismatch. TH9 attacking you would have a 50% penalty, which would not be worth the effort unless your mines are filled up too.And after the search mechanics was updated, I don't think that I have ever seen TH7 during my searches as a TH10.
