I am a TH9 with all my defenses maxed, maxed troops, and walls lvl 9, 20/20 heroes. Should I upgrade to TH10 and max my walls/heroes there or should I stay until they are both completely maxed?

If you are planning on maxing out your base completely, then the best time to do your walls is @ th 9 to be able to farm th 8s, 9s and 10s but if you upgrade to th 10 you will be able to farm only th 9s and 10s.
On the other hand, upgrading heroes at th 10 is easier because farming d.e. is easier.
So for your walls, stay at th 9
for your heroes, upgrade to th 10
For both, stay at th9
P.S. The only disadvantage is keeping 2 or 3 builders idle for 2 months or even more.
If you upgrade to TH10 u get loot penalties. I wish I would have maxed everything out walls/heroes! Being TH9 has advantages look for a clan that wars and needs TH9 so the process is less aggravatingQuote:

You should max all walls or max heroes before th10, but once either of those happens, you should get th10 as to not waste resources
thanks for the feedback. btw, for those that maxed TH9 before moving to TH10, did you max WALLS first or HEROES first? I'm aiming to try to get them done at about the same time to make sure no reource will get wasted.
I went up with level 15 royals and 100 lavas and it was not such a big deal.The problem comes in wars-as you max out th 10 you encounter other clans with level 30+ heroes and you can guess the outcome.It is very frustating really.If you don`t care about clan wars.. go for it.Another option is to go for 9.5 if your lab is maxed.
It isn't if you finish heroes and walls way before like me
I went to th10 with max Legos and 20/20 Heros. I maxed my lavas at th10 and Heros currently 34/30. Just finishing off at and cannon for max def.
On my second acc I currently have 169 lavas and 17/17 heroes with max th8 def.
Took the maxing route more seriously second time round...
Your primary focus should be heroes, you can always work on walls in between.Quote:

It's a good idea, if you don't get bored. People say that th9 is one of the better farming town hall levels, and I agree.
If you get bored maxing th9, in my honest opinion as long as you have 20/20 heroes and good enough walls (full legos or 30-50% lavas), you'll be fine.
And on the question on maxing walls or heroes first, I maxed heroes. So much fun farming with 30/30 heroes.
