why should i use speed spell if i have rage spell?

dont your troops get faster when you drop a rage spell on them?
why should i make an speed spell if the rage spell makes your troops
faster and stronger and it dosnt cost dark elixir? I dont get it.

Haste spells are usually used to get balloons to an outside ad in a dragon attack. Rage spells are usually used to progress troops though a large clump of defenses (balloons giants ect). Rage spells are to clear out an area and make the most out of your troops ability. Haste spells are to get slower troops into and area faster so they don't take as much damage getting there.

Two Reasons:
-Haste spells make your troops significantly faster than Rage spells.
-Haste spells take only 1 housing space unlike Rage spells, which take 2 housing space when created, so you can bring more of Haste spells.

Because there is no damage increase, you would need to run an eq spell with it to have a similar sort of effect as the rage. So, you are still taking up 2 spots worth of spells to do pretty much the same thing. Some like it, some don't.
