For all the cocky ones out there (see what I did there) I say politely please shut your mouth. The ease at which you are able to attain 10k de depends on many things. How often you play, your type of playing style, and a part of it is also your trophy range. OP I think you should spend a couple of days de farming, and focus on de ONLY. The more focused you are the quicker you will reach your goal. If you think you are confident in getting 10k in a reasonable time, the sure go for it. As the others say, it's up to you :) Personally the first 10k de to farm, for me, was very difficult. Since then i've learnt a lot and can competently gain de but it takes time to learn.
In my opinion, raise your trophies and give it about a week, good luck :)

Doubt he will save his 500 gems from barb king for a fifth builder, but yea hes worthy of gemming like AQ :)

I think I am going to try to get some dark elixir and based on how difficult it is, I will/will not gem him. I won't even try to get my 5th builder hut due to the fact that getting 1400 gems by removing obstacles is next to impossible. As for gemming the archer queen, I am planning to max out th7, including walls, and then max out th8. This will'obviously take a long time. During all of this time, my gems will be sitting there gathering dust and there is the very small possibility that I will quit before getting TH 9.

Why not save up your gems for the 5th builder? it would help immensely. Plus its only a matter of time before your get the BK. Just continue to raid and protect the dark elixir. Patience is key in this game. Don't worry about gemming the BK of all things.

Why not save up for a 5th builder hut? Lets say I get anoth150 gems from achievements. That leaves me with 1250 gems to go until I get 2000 gems for the 5th builder. Every 8 hours, 1 obstacle spawns which leads to 3 per day. Each obstacle can drop from 0-3 gems. If I am very very lucky, I can get 9 gems per day. 1250/9=138.8 repeating. So it will take me almost 5 months to get it. But how many times have you gotten 3 3 gems per obstacles in a row?

I was just saying that in the long run a 5th builder would be way more beneficial then a BK. However if you think a BK is worth gemming, Go for it.:)

Why do you type "-Travo60" after everything, we know its you saying it

It's up to you, but since you have the gems and a 4th builder, why not? DE is worth a lot of gems, so of you get some DE first it will save you gems.

Builder hut. At th8 you will be getting d,e easily with a lvl 3 d,e mine

id go for the 5th builder because it better in the long run to save for because there is no other way you can get it other than threw gems, because you can get the barb king threw 10k DE even though it may take longer to get there you will manage, just wait..
