I noticed that a lot of people would spend their resources on such expensive decorations
I'm thinking of decorations you could get from finishing a specific task (ie. Get 100% attack on a TH8 in less than a minute) and you would get this decoration that you would only get on that specific mission.
Or a special event for a limited time? Raid Santa's village with only goblins? Maybe a snow globe decoration prize.
These two suggestions of yours sound like a quest system with the only difference it gives decorations as rewards, rather than resources; quest system was suggested many times before, check few topics on this subject before creating a new topic. As for the idea, they sound interesting but I think we have enough decorations right now, and considering the new TH11 will obviously come with new content, the bases might get overcrowded with new decorations too.
When you say achievement , i thought you meant about "Achievements ".
Like if you complete :
- HEROIC HEIST , you get something as a ADD ON to your Dark Storage.
- MORTAR MAULER , you get a badge on your mortars.
- UNION BUSTER , you get a hammer near your huts.
AND soooo on... This will make achievements more desirable!
