Need tips to improve my TH6 base

Normal Setup

I normally hover around 1200 trophies.

Healer-Giant armies are currently a nuisance.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

If you could rotate the images that would be great...

The best defense for you is to put your th outside and get the free shield, and when you raid, you should get 3X as much as you lose.

The reason is th1-6 just doesn't have enough walls and structures to stop all but the weakest attacks. Base design doesn't really have an impact until th7. That being said, the main goal of th6 is getting to th7.

Thanks and I will be upgrading my town hall soon but first I am trying to get the army camps and barracks to max level and all of my walls to Lvl.6

Dont rush to upgrade your th, the loot will be less, so start maxing things out, then upgrade

There's no need to keep your elixir collectors inside its just taking up room for defense. There isn't a point to be at that high of a trophie level at th6 all your gonna do is keep losing more and more so you might wanna try farming until you get to 7.

Actually I think I lost more at th5-6 than 7 because storages couldn't contain what I was making. I bought all the decorations during that time because storage was only 1-2 mil total. You get 10% back on decorations, so on the 20+ decorations I had to buy that represents a net loss of 1.8 mil. Also, at th7, i could attack stronger bases, so I could make more than 4X what I was making per attack at th 5/6. I believe it was something like 50k-100k vs 200k-400k per attack.

Oh btw nearly all paint and editing programs allow you to rotate pictures. I use windows paint.

Your storages are located along the edges except for the one gold mine which is still accessible via one broken wall. You want more protection for those storages. If possible put them behind 2 walls worth of defense or at least not in range of an all archer rush
