Painfully easy

I'm sure that this has had to have been brought up before but I can't find anything on it. But, it is way too easy to get 2 stars. I'm a th9 and most of the others in my clan that wars are also th9s. Defensively wars have become stale because if the opponent wants to 2 star your base, all he has to do is pick the fastest angle to your th (if there is one) and rush it with all his troops. Then of course all he has to do is blow all 4 of his spells on the way there and there is a 99% chance that the battle will end in a 2 star. Of course, he has no chance of a 3 star using this method. But for the vast majority of people that play this game, getting 3 stars as a th9 vs a th9 is too hard (which I don't have a problem with). So they just do the easy rush and get the easy 2. It's boring, it's foolproof, and it makes me not care about how my war base is set up because it's impossible to stop the 2 star anyway.

I feel confident that I could 2 star any th9 with nothing but Giants, Wizards and spells. I wouldn't need royals, nothing in my clan castle, I don't care if your heroes are level 30, wouldn't matter if there was a lvl 5 drag and lvl 4 valk or whatever it might be that you would want in your cc. The 2 star would still happen.

I think the easiest way to fix this is to raise the percentage star to 70%. That would be fair at all town hall levels. Everyone below th9 are usually just having a dragfest that ends in just about all the bases being 3 starred anyway. I think it would also make wars more interesting for th10 players. If my valks were leveled up, I would also feel comfortable in being able to get 2 stars against most th10s....even though I'm a th9...and my skills are less than impressive. I would just bring a govape with 3 rages and a jump. I would atleast get 1 (the 50% star). Assuming his infernos were set to multiple targets of course.

Am I alone on this?

Lets say ur a th7 and ur trying to push to champs. Then out comes this update that says that u can no longer 1 star a base by getting 50% and no th, but now its 70% for a 1 star with no th. Now this th7 who was slowly gaining trophies can no longer rely on its probably #1 source for trophies, which is 50%ing a th9 snipe. Now its probably #2 source for trophies 1 or 2 starring th8s is also in jeopardy. It now has to get 70%, instead of 50. Now with its #1 source for trophies abolished, and its #2 source in jeopardy. It has no choice but to only rely on 6(if its his bday, xmas, and the luck of the Irish gave him good luck) 1-2 trophy snipes, th7s worth more than 1 trophy, and pray to god that he gets an easily 70%able th8 or 7 whale(by whale I mean about 20+ trophies). Now if u add all of that together(please note that whales dont appear every day, but more like once every 2-3 days) and then add the trophy loss(probably around 30) then u will get a negative number. In other words 6-12 hours( hopefully around 6 hrs a sesh) would have been wasted.

I really don't understand where your coming from due to the fact that trophy pushing isn't fun in my eyes. I should've made it more clear that I was really only referring to wars. Farming is fine where it's at in my opinion. Although...if supercell had to make it 70% across the board(for both war and farming) due to coding issues. I think it would still be fair enough to make it all 70%. I mean come on bro...your a th7, what business do you have in champs anyways?

when you get to higher leagues, around Masters and champs.. most players have maxed out defenses and high lvl walls.. it'll be very difficult to get 60% or more for 2 stars without using a strong army composition

Barch and other quick army don't get 50% anyways unless it's a th9 attacking a mid th8 or th5 attacking th5 etc.

If you think you're getting two starred very often then you're probably facing strong opponents, try a lower league.. high lvl walls help a lot (comes at a price though)

You obviously didn't read the actual post, just looked at the poll. But to answer your trophy question...it is very easy to get 50% against a th9 with barch. Just bring a couple heal and a couple rage spells. A th9 could 3 star a max th8 with barch(assuming heroes and spells were used). Just boost your spell factory and your heroes, they'll be ready almost as fast as your garbage army of barch. If you have a problem with having to boost those, then you have absolutely no business trophy pushing anyways. Barch shouldn't be considered a legitimate raiding option for high level players...I would think that would be obvious.

Giants and hogs have extremely fast build times, and a giant/hog hybrid army is more than enough to get a 2 star against anyone that's th9 and below. Even if the percentage was set to 70%. I'm in the masters league and have been there for a long time, so I'm not speaking blindly.

Instead, would prefer going to 4 or 5 star system for attacks on TH9-10
