TH8 Goelm L2 or Pekka L2

I have a TH8 level 76
I have already maxed my Barbarian King to L10
Originally i wanted to ask which of the two upgrade should i do first. Golem to level 2 or Pekka to level 2
I had around 40 lakh elixr and 60k DE
but my account got activated late and i had to take a decision before posting of this thread.
and i have put Golem for level 2
only reason being having DE 60k in storage for next 10 days (pekka will take 10 days to upgrade) would have caused a lot of attacks on me and i could not break shield for farming because i have to save DE (and if i have put Pekka for upgrade would have exhausted exlir and would have required to do more farming)

I want to know what you would have done if you were in my place and the reason for it

Pekkas. Golems are fine at lev 1, but not pekkas. Max those out.

See I'd say the opposite. Golems as they are relied upon more heavily in other variations of attacks, namely GoHo which is TH8s strongest attack if used properly.
